What seems like a simple process is in fact obviously not !! Ordered tyres on 13th for a fitting at my garage on the 17th. Phone the garage to check all ok for the time slot given. The tyres are not there ! What's the point !! Thought you might be better than blackcircles but clearly not. I have now spent 45 mins in a queue waiting to find out what is going on. Very poor service.

Ordered tyres went to get fitted told on garage to busy .Needed car for work,using emergency tyre,will not us RAC tyres again or go near Cando Autosurvices in wymondam.9 days to get a refund come on.......

"Time wasters."
When I called, the system told me they were very busy and I'd be answered in 15 minutes. After 45 minutes' waiting I e-mailed to ask what was going on - because if they weren't interested, I needed to go elsewhere. No reply. After an hour's waiting I suddenly got the message 'This call is now out of hours', and the call dropped. This was 10:30 Saturday morning.

"Why bother with allocating appointment times"
Easy to order on line. HOWEVER, when I took the vehicle to the allotted appointment I’m told it’s going to be hours as they do not give time slots. Yet the RAC booking clearly states a 0830 appointment.

"RAC TYRES WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE…"
I didn't want to give 1 star after the worst customer service. I contacted RAC TYRES. over 4 months ago regarding chunks of my DUNLOP TYRES splitting off, i explained i am a taxi driver and i was very concerned, they told me to go to one of there approved fitters, who told me the tyres looked at fault, so i reported this, then there expert of over 30 yrs said it was my vehicle that was at fault. So i had my vehicle serviced by Mercedes, no mention of any issues. I have emailed and phoned customer services recently and have had no reply whatsoever. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Totaly disgraceful customer services

Does not deserve one star - truly awful experience and will NEVER use again and will tell as many people as I can about the experience.
Booked for a tyre to be replaced at my home using their online tool. All bought and paid for and accepted their suggested install date. I was called by their "fitter" on the day of the fitting to say they had not received the tyre and that I needed to contact "Asda" - why they are involved I do not know. I immediately contact RAC Tyres via email - NO reply. Followed up the next working day with an email - NO reply. Phoned their customer service who informed me that the Fitter had cancelled my order due to "no feedback of direction from customer". The fitters are able to close jobs even though I spoke to the fitter and was asked by them to "chase the delivery of the tyre to them". After speaking to RAC Tyres i was unable to raise a complaint as my complaint should be directed to the fitter i.e. trying to remove their responsibility from the whole process. A joke of a service and clearly in the wrong business.

I ordered and paid for 4x Nankang NS20 tyres on 23-08-22 and was promised them on 24-08-22 to be fitted by SETyres.I arrived at the fitters at 1.30 pm for the pre-arranged fitting, to be told that only 1 tyre had been delivered! I rang RAC tyres to be told by Emma that she couldn't locate the supplier but would get back to me when she had. I had heard nothing ,so the following day I rang RAC again, this time I spoke to Will who said he would chase up the supplier and ring me back ,he didn't, so I rang RAC again that day and spoke with Liam. Liam rang the supplier and was told that the tyres were scheduled for delivery on 26-08-22. I then rang the fitter who told me he would ring me when he received the tyres. He rang just before closing to tell me the tyres had not been delivered! I immediately rang RAC tyres and luckily Liam answered my call and was amazed when I explained that the tyres still had not been delivered. Liam immediately rang the supplier and was told that the tyres were going to be delivered on the following tuesday 30-08-22. Liam then told me that he would ring the supplier on the tuesday morning to make sure the tyres had been delivered and then ring SETyres to check that they had received them. Liam would then ring me to let me know all was good.Liam took ownership of my problem and saw it through to a successful conclusion. If you buy tyres from RAC tyres, make sure you deal with Liam if you get problems as I did. I don't think the RAC is the real problem but they need to kick their suppliers into shape and they certainly need to train their employees to take ownership of customer problems and not just fob people off.( Liam excepted! 😇 ) The RAC will then see their reviews take an upward trajectory.

"Excellent price and service for me!"
Replacing 3 caravan tyres (including spare). I was having trouble finding replacements for the GT Radial Kargomax ST-4000 195/70 R14 96N in any reasonable brand - it appears to an odd size in this country. Local companies could only offer far eastern brands that I had never heard of .
I found that ractyres had exactly the brand and size I wanted, at a very reasonable price, and they had an approved local fitter with a excellent reputation. I ordered on line for fitting the next week.
I started to have doubts when I looked at some of the reviews for ractyres. I wondered whether they might not actually be available. However I needn't have worried, everything went smoothly for me.
I took my old wheels in to Bracknell Tyres and Batteries and they had the new tyres fitted and balanced within the 1 hour time slot I had chosen. I was only there about 40 minutes.
For me it was a five star service from RACTYRES and from Bracknell Tyres and Batteries.

I got the tyres I wanted fitted by a local fitter , that I normally use and trust , and saved £52 in the process.

"Waste off time and lied and lied"
Waste off time and lied to twice!!? I ordered tyres on line on 3rd August, only to have the order cancelled straight away. Payment was taken straight away. I was told the refund would be in my account within 48 hours! Still no refund, I called on Monday to be told the refund hadn’t been processed, I was then told it was being done there and then and would be in my account by Wednesday 17th August!!! Still no refund, I have called today 18th august to be told the refund was not processed on Monday either!!! Complete lies and more lies. You have £1050 of my money - I have lost a deal on tyres I managed to source elsewhere, thanks to your utter incompetence and lies. More fool me for being a member for over 20 years with you.
If you have the decency to reply and explain why your staff lie I am more than happy to here it. Instead I expect you sit there and have a good laugh at people like myself who don’t have extra funds while we wait for our refunds.
