"Having had over 7 different landlords…"

Having had over 7 different landlords over the last 10 years it's been wonderful to rent from a property company instead. QL was designed for renters and therefore the apartments are well thought right down to the placement of the plug sockets. I've found the resident and operations team to be very personable and supportive. In particular from Atik, Yas and Sza.

"Good experience"

We’ve just signed our contract with Quintain and the process couldn’t have gone better. Adrian was very knowledgable and accommodating with our requests. He showed us around a few flats, which were practically selling themselves, and then he helped us through the necessary paperwork. It all went really smoothly and we can’t wait to move in :)
All in all amazing experience with Quintain so far.

"SCAMMING ROBOTS - DO NOT SIGN UP"

Absolutely terrifying! We were traumatised by our experience and then scammed out of £7000. We were lured by Quintain staff into helping with an addict on our floor and so traumatised by the experience that we wanted to leave our flat 2 months early to keep our baby safe. We asked for some understanding about the situation as we were frightened of the neighbour who had shown up covered in vomit, urine and poo demanding things from us. No understanding took place, our flat was immediately given away to someone else and we were sent a threatening £7,000 bill for wanting to leave early, despite them already filling the flat with other tenants which meant they were getting double rent for 3 months.This is disgusting, greedy and inhumane. They pretend to be your friend but then you get frighteningly threatening emails if you so much as have an item they don’t like the look of out on your balcony for too long. Dogs aren’t actually allowed anywhere so not pet friendly at all. Internet doesn’t work at all and because it’s ‘complimentary’ they don’t care to fix it. We have had to give them £7000 of our hard earned savings because we were too frightened for our baby in our flat and some big corporate vulture eats this up, taking it as profit and laughing at anyone who signs their money-trapping contracts. Vile, vicious, robots. HATE WHERE YOU RENT. Be warned, do not get sucked in. Rent from a human with a soul.

"Go elsewhere"

Some people pay upwards of £200 for a parking space, yet I get mine for £100 (parking next to the same people). The pipes rattle, the walls allow smells and noise in easily (at all hours). 1995 dial up internet is more reliable than their ‘fast’ internet. It is fast, when it runs.
People smoke on balconies and regularly breach the bi laws…it’s genuinely amateur hour at quintain.
Sell you a premium experience, but what you get is nothing even close.
Oh, be careful of your data, they lose items to kids that enter the secure lobby, like mobile phones with our personal details on it.
Wonder how long it will take before data requests are being regularly made by the tenants.
As soon as my lease is up, I’m out the door and handing everything over to solicitors.

"Excellent start, deteriorated by the end"

Update 2 years later: or course, everything changes once you are embedded in. Noticeably, the level of support when you need help declined significantly in the last year or so. Poor communication by the staff both with each other and with residents. Quintains main aim is to exploit as much money out of residents as possible. It's not surprise that many people are leaving or have left (me included). Utilities is a whole other topic many have covered in reviews - too many instances where bills don't reflect reality, lack of transparency, and lack of taking any queries or complaints seriously.

So far the experience renting with Quintain has been great, right from the initial enquiry searching for an apartment through the reservation process and moving in. The staff have all been great, always willing to help and keeping me informed all the way through (particular mention to Caley and Alisha who were excellent) and the concierge team are very friendly. Compared to renting on a standard private rental market, the process was much simpler, and no agents or landlords to deal with.
Good experience so far in terms of fixing issues - a couple of minor maintenance issues were dealt with quickly and the friendly maintenance engineer was happy to sort other issues there and then.
Lots of other complaints on Wi-Fi but so far no major issues for me, plus there are plans to make changes to improve it going forward anyway.
5 stars so far - please keep it up Quintain!

"Not worth it"

Internet connection disconnects multiple times per hour, trash chute never works, people smoke on their balconies daily, booking public spaces costs money even though no mention of it, etc... We tried to report these issues for SIX MONTHS and nothing has happened. Paying these high prices we were expecting to have top notch customer support but this turns out to be the worst company I have ever dealt with in my whole life.

"Do not move here."

Do not move here.

The "free WiFi" is horrendous and will not work for you most of the time. The residents team will not fix the issue and you will be told that because it is a "free service" hidden in the cost of your rent. You won't be entitled to any refunds if your WiFi doesn't work. Alternatively you can't get your own provider. Good luck.
