"Disappointing experience…."

Ordered 166 tiles to cover our hallway project. Order accepted.

Received a phone call a day or two after they were due to be delivered to say they had been damaged by the courier, that they had no more in stock and gave me 2 options:-

1. Cancel the order and receive a full refund;
2. Receive a partial refund and the 146 tiles they had received back from the courier.

They didn’t give me any information about when they would be back in stock or give me an option to wait until then and receive the full order.

After looking online at other suppliers, it seems they are all out of stock of the specific tile so, the next day (and having worked out the absolute minimum needed (140)), I called back to say I would have the 146 tiles. They then told me it was only 140.

I accepted that.

I’m not surprised that some were damaged in the last despatch as 23 were sent just wrapped in cling wrap, no box or anything to protect from breakage.

The delivery driver was a joy! He helped to inspect them and counted to make sure we had received the right amount.
