Everything went according to schedule. I was very impressed with the installation and workmanship. It was a Door installation, the quality of the Door turned out better than expected. The after sales follow-up was carried out, they went ahead and changed out the interior door handle which had a tiny scratch on it. Really very happy with the Service.

"Problem resolved satisfactorily"

My partner and I decided at the end of November 2024 to replace the windows and front door on our bungalow. We looked at one or two options online, however as I had used C R Smith previously, we visited the showroom in Dunfermline to look at the Lorimer range of windows and doors.
A meeting was arranged with Kevin Thorburn at our home, and we decided to go ahead with the work as we luckily secured a Black Friday price for the work which we were happy with.
The two installers, Andy and Ross arrived on 17th March to carry out the 3 day job to replace our windows and front door. They were excellent, friendly workers who carried out the work to perfection. The only problem we encountered was on the third day when the new front door arrived and we noticed that it had the incorrect diamond panels!
I then had to look out the original paperwork from our meeting with Kevin Thorburn - and it was then we noticed an error he had made with the door order. We had wanted DIAMONDS style - however he had called it DIAMONDE on the order. Once it reached production stage, someone had just assumed that we wanted the DIAMONTE style - rather than checking with either Kevin or ourselves!
Thankfully however C R Smith agreed that an error had been made, and provided us a few weeks later with the door panel style we had wanted.
We are now delighted with our new Lorimer windows and our lovely front door!!

"Quality of product was excellent"

Quality of product was excellent. Fitters were very good. Kept us informed throughout the fitting and very tidy. Hoovered before they left. Dylan was very professional.

Silicon had come away from a part of my newly installed window and CR Smith sent Brian today who fixed the problem quickly and to our satisfaction. Brian arrived on Tim and was cheery and professional. Thanks so much.

Installation team were excellent, arrived in good time, started with the installation, and did the job in good time, cleared up after them, and made sure we were aware of how to operate the new windows, and were very professional all round
