Had Windows and door fitted 21/22 May and fitters (father and two sons) did an excellent job. Arrived on time and left house and outside perfect taking all rubbish away - would recommend them for any future work!
Windows and door look great but were rather expensive!!

I am delighted with the amount of light flooding in, not just to the conservatory but also the kitchen. Also being able to enjoy the greatly enhanced views of the hills and sky.

Penicuik will give you a massive price and a hard sell, when you try to get the salesman to leave they'll start knocking thousands off it. Over £13K down to £5K in my experience.
This is not a good deal - this just shows how hugely inflated the original price was.

The "finance option" (which is their main product, the windows are just the bait) is many times more expensive than you'd get from a bank. A £6K loan had a total repayable of over £12K - that's double!! The interest figure (which you have to drag out of them) is monthly, they make it sound like the AER which is annual - multiply it by twelve then compare interest rates.

Penicuik was very quick to report my original review, I wonder how many more 1 star reviews there have been which were removed and not reposted.

Update: I've had a local supplier do the job for £4K, a full £1,000 cheaper than Penicuik's best price - and that includes a front door which Penicuik couldn't even provide!!
