"Let down by Penicuik again"
No complaints about the eventual installation of the roofwork as the tradesmen were very efficient. Still have major doubts about how they handle their communication and work schedules. This is compounded by another failed visit to view a potential replacement for our Storm Door. The representative was supposed to come the middle of last week and still no appearance.

Dear sir / madam I am sorry but I would not recommend you to any one first your salesman was nice and answered all our questions I asked him if when I got the windows in would I be able to get my blinds and curtain poles up to ask the work men I asked the one that was boss and he told me he would put the poles up at a price he said I would not get blinds up in 47yrs I have always had a blind in my bedrooms when it come to put the poles up he said he would do it for a bottle of vodka so I said yes when I gave him it he asked what about the other two men so I gave them a bottle each then he started to boast that they got a £100 tip from a previous customer I,m really sorry because my husband could have done it but I though they would do it better your windows are lovely but I feel disappointed because I was told the wrong information

one star based solely on response from customer support, have sent 2 call back requests with no response, phoned several times always no one available, tried Aberdeen office got through once and fitter came out to adjust front door to stop squealing noise, door now not in line with frame
tried Aberdeen office several more times no reply
new front door installed lovely looking but frame not square and will need refitting
French doors installed very nice but no stays to stop doors flying past 90 degrees when open, Aberdeen said they would be fitted 2 weeks ago
1 pane of glass on French door has mark on inside of glass
All in all not very good performance
still no work carried out on above
sent several call back requests but only had 1 call back
have had several e mail replies saying they have instructed Aberdeen office to call me but they never have
Aberdeen office phone rings out whenever we have called, apart from the one time above
have contacted various other phone numbers but they all say Aberdeen office needs to deal with it
will have to start looking at other ways to get them to respond and finish the work/repairs

The 3 stars that I have selected does not reflect the quality of windows as they are top quality, the fitters were fantastic and did a 5 star job. The 3 stars are because on installation day after our old windows were removed we noticed the new windows were the wrong colour, old windows then had to be refitted, two weeks later new windows fitted and well pleased. We ordered as we were informed we would receive cash back a few days after installation, this was to pay for the first years payments as we had other commitments, 2 weeks down the line and still no cash back. I shouldn't have to be chasing this it should have been an automatic payment.

"have I been conned"
My double glazing flop. Sold the product on a "take offer now or lose it". Wrong style bedroom window fitted and it was delivered and inserted cracked. Sliding door could not be locked. No sills inserted as the ones delivered were the wrong size. Hole in the wall next to the front door. No time allowed to source alternative payment. Pushed into signing the release form before the products had been inspected by myself. I did manage to see the bedroom window and reported that on the form before the installers went to another job. Your company was the first I had contacted for my double glazing and I'm very sorry I did not meet other installers and have the chance to enquire into alternative finance.
My product was installed on Good Friday. It was Saturday when I realised the sliding door didn't lock and I was due to go to Perth on Easter Sunday to work for ten days. I was devastated as I still had to go into town and get my train ticket and was told that an engineer would be in touch with me between the hours of 9am and 5pm. He did try and help me over he phone but it wasn't until he arrived that he realised he had been instructing me on the wrong door. He did realign the sliding door but it isn't right now. Went off to work frustrated and demoralised.

good price, windows fitted within 3 weeks, worker was friendly and tidy no problems at all

"Reasonably happy"
Initially disappointed as glass in bathroom window was plain took almost three weeks to get the privacy glass, several small task's to finish job. Disappointed that there is no emergency call out service at weekend and evenings, we were unable to lock the door which was fitted on a Saturday therefore stuck in house. Workmen pleasant and polite and cleaned up well after work.

"A JOB WORTH DOING!"
We regret to inform future customers, and all personnel involved In
the fitting of Our new windows and doors, that we would have
Given a massive 5 star plus, if not for the following 2 points!
Point 1-: prior to signing up the agreement, I asked the specific
question, will there be any financial penalties for making an early
settlement ? As we intended to settle in full at the first payment due
date!
lo and behold, we were charged an additional £200 plus.
Point 2-: the two contractors who arrived to carry out the work, went
Way above and beyond being first class and professional in all the
work they carried out, and we were amazed at seeing that type of
building work being done in such a clean and tidy manner.
However, for structural reasons, one window had to be done at a
later date, by a different colleague of the first two.
We were devastated to find a bomb site, when going up to view the
Window!
No dust sheets were used and we had to clean the whole bedroom
from ceiling to under carpet, an aerial wire was left virtually
unretrievable, and overall very rushed and shoddy workmanship.
Based on the original team, we would highly recommend to anyone.
but don't know how you could be guaranteed to get them!!
