Everyone should be aware that when you ask for an estimate, you will be put under pressure to buy on the night - as the price will be different tomorrow!

It seems that all double glazing companies employ the same tactic.

You take your chance with the fitters although all are supposedly very experienced.

My fitters were excellent and we are very pleased with the job. Nice neat job. Could have tidied up a bit better at the end and they failed to show me the job room by room as they were supposed to........but I did a quick check in any case.

You are required to fill in a tick list at the time of payment i.e. when the fitters are about to leave - not enough time to inspect job in detail.

I found a number of minor faults over the next day or so but in hindsight they could easily have been major and I suspect it might have been difficult to get anyone back to sort problems out. (See other reviews)

Pleased with every aspect of the work done. Conservatory looks great. Small but ideal for me.
I'd have given 5* but you get hounded by the sales team afterwards to tell you how much you can get off your next purchase. Despite telling them I'm not interested in anything I still get hounded.
Asked them to take me off the database this week and got another sales call next again day.

"Penicuik"

Penicuik did not for our windows it was jobs worth doing. We were not notified of this being the case. The fitters turned up at 10 am and left at 7pm. As it was dark we couldn't full inspect the Windows until the next morning. There were fixings missing, poor pvc finish in the bathroom that was cut around the tile and filled sloppily with silicon, Windows catching, scratches on internal and external pains, broken clips for the tilt and turn. I contacted jobs worth doing for a fortnight before I was able to get an inspector out. Hopefully these issues will be sorted this week. I would recommend telling customers that Penicuik don't fit the windows so they can have a chance to check out jobs worth doings reviews.

The buying experience was initially good however the salesman did not fulfill all he said he would. I called the company and the supervisor came out to see me. We came to an agreement and the sale went ahead. The day the window was installed went really well. The two men who came to do the job were polite and cleaned up after they did a really good job. The window was a bit pricey but it is what it is.

Cant fault them. Sales guy Jason was lovely. Installation team excellent and follow up visit from Gary was very helpful and offered me a sill that I didn't think was possible for my bathroom.

Awful poor communication, no shows for installation, wrong material when they did appear and then job left half done as materials were faulty. No one returns calls and just terrible servuce from the word go. Sent an email to customer service over a week ago and still waiting a response.
