Absolutely delighted with the service.I had a blocked sink and the Plumber Richard was a legend with his first class expertise and skills resolved the problem efficiently he was very customer friendly, understanding and polite and did his upmost best, he and his co-worker also willingly re hug a fallen cupboard while they were there.Such great people Places for People should be proud of them and consider giving awards to outstanding workers.Thank you so much.

"We have lived here for 30 years "

We have lived here for 30 years , we have always done our own repairs and are proud of our house. We thought we would ask for help with the bathroom as it is 30 years old and leaks are appearing from the shower. Biggest mistake of our time living here we waited months for them to come out and we expected completion in August , this never happened we had destruction in our bathroom for months. On finally nearly half completing we were told carpet enter need to come to finish the rotted floor and the edge of the bath. We are still waiting as the water is running down through the electric extractor fan into the downstairs toilet( I have a bucket underneath). To top it off this week they have finally came to fit a new toilet ( again waiting a couple of months) on fixing the toilet I had turned my central heating on as I have flu . On going to the kitchen I noticed blue paper roll over my hall floor on looking up boiling hot water was coming through my ceiling , the plumber had drilled through my central heating pipe. Nothing was said myself or my dogs could have been scolded. My son ran down and shouted to the plumber he needs to turn the stopcock off , he replied ohh yeah where is it my son had to do it. My son then said do you think you should turn the electric off mate again he replied ohh yeah. He then started tearing my hall ceiling down causing me so much distress I had to have treatment from my gp the next morning. We are so fuming with places for people when and if they ever complete our repairs we are never letting them set foot in our house again . We have also with held our rent until our house looks and is up to standards and safe I have put the date July but is still ongoing to this day

Hi where I live use to be lovely everyone got on but since these two individuals moved in everything has changed one of them will complain to pfp about the least little thing reporting residents for trivial matters the latest one is one of the residents has has a bird feeder for years this individual has reported her for feeding the birds because they seen a rat considering we live right beside the river where we see loads of rats I suppose you will get the odd one coming beside us all the neighbours are mortified that pfp has come today and taking down her bird feeder she was so careful putting things on so the seeds wouldn't drop down and they couldn't climb up why are pfp taking her side every time no-one else has complained so that will tell you how many rats we have everyone is disgusted this has happened when they are telling you to feed the birds in the winter rant over thank you

THIS GIVES PEOPLE A FALSE PERSPECTIVE OF PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO RENT. HERE IS THE REALITY..........

ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR EVERY DAY.

CORRUPT OPERATION, AS ANY CORPORATION.

THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE LIVING IN THEIR PROPERTIES ARE VERY UNHAPPY AND ARE TRYING TO LEAVE. JUST LOOK AT HOME-SWAPPER. PEOPLE ARE BEING FORCED TO LIVE IN SUB STANDARD CONDITIONS. IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE CRAP. THEN GO AHEAD. RENT FROM THEM. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE. RENT ELSEWHERE.

Well informed with how things where going. Lovely cosy bungalow in a quiet area. All fenced off and private. Only downfall was that fencing should have been sorted and still waiting for that to be done

"Lack of Communication"

After looking forward to our hopefully last move, it turned out to be a very distressing situation for both my Wife and myself. The biggest problem that we had was a total lack of Communication. In one situation my wife actually managed to speak to someone on the phone about us handing the keys in for the property that we were leaving, unfortunately during the phone call it was obvious that the person that she spoke to wasn't really listening and the message never got passed on and caused us so much grief. We spent about 2 weeks getting what can only be described as threatening e mails and text messages, Not an experience we would like to go through again. Having happened just before Christmas we didn't have a very pleasant time, all through something as simple as a message not being passed on. Hopefully that is now all in the past and maybe we can now get on with our lives.
