Excellent meals, great value.
I just wish there were some explicitly stated garlic free or garlic reduced options due to sensitivities.

"Limp herbs"

Well, I have noticed the little things like if there are fresh herbs, by the time I open the box to prepare the dish, the herbs are limp and useless.

"I’m impressed with the portions"

I’m impressed with the portions, freshness and the consistent delivery style. One tiny thing is that sometimes the liquid compartments are spilled. I like the menus too 💕

"Very happy with the quality of food and recipes"

I’m very happy with the quality of produce and the variety of recipes. I’ve had Five weeks of deliveries and so far I’ve enjoyed every meal. I also appreciate their effort to be light on packaging!

"Almost perfect…"

I love the meals that come in the reusable containers. I don’t love the meals that come in the paper bag with plastic baggies inside. They take up too much space in the fridge.

The meals themselves are delicious. Lots of variety and great flavour. Some of the ingredients could be prepped to make it more efficient - I am not sure why some are (onions and garlic for example are nicely chopped), while sundried tomatoes and herbs are whole but need to be cut. From a convenience point it would be great if it was consistently prepped when possible.

Overall we prefer FreshPrep over all the other meal prep companies.

Our family has tried other food prep meal delivery companies and Fresh Prep has been the best for recipes options and taste. The reason we switched was their zero waste packaging option, their B corp certification and their local focus. It's the kind of business model I want to support and I don't have to sacrifice quality or taste.

My kids, 2 young adults and a teen, and I LOVE fresh prep! The meals are delicious and easy to prepare. We’ve ordered over 100 meals in 6 months and we’ve never had the same meal twice! There’s only been 1 meal that we’ve said we’d not order it again, but it wasn’t bad, just not as good as the others! Wednesday is like Christmas around here! Everyone looks forward to unbagging the new meals for the week.

"A little more $$ than most other meal…"

A little more $$ than most other meal kits but less preparation work and far less packaging waste. My meal selections have all been good , only maybe one or two that , although they weren’t bad, I would select something else instead. All in all , good food , easy preparation, I recommend.

"Spice Level Per Recipe"

Fresh prep is an overall great concept. The food is great as well as the ingredient quality. I love that you guys use reusable containers, preventing less garbage and waste. Although one thing that would make the recipes better is having a spice level that each user could adjust per each meal.

I have been using Fresh Prep for 3 months and am very impressed with the results. I love all the choices you have and how flavourful the meals are. The instruction sheets are excellent. I also appreciate the notices I get informing me when the deliveries coming.
