Scam, dont buy anything from this ugly scammers,

"I booked a room for a Jasper, the entire town has been burned in a forest fire"

I booked a room for a Jasper, Alberta hotel. The entire town was engulfed in a forest fire and I am trying to get my money back for a hotel that no longer exists. I have sent emails to Traveluro with no response. I called the phone number which is derived from New York State and spoke with someone claiming to be Hazel who sounded like she was not in the US.

Hazel asked for my confirmation number 5 or 6 times and when she asked how to spell the hotel name I asked why couldn’t she see the information because I had already given the confirmation number. Hazel stated she couldn’t see the information and had to write everything by hand. Hazel was supposed to send a confirmation email about my request which I haven’t received.

My next step is to lodge a complaint with my credit card company

La réservation qu'on a reçue n'était pas la date que l'on avait demandé, je me suis battu une semaine en les appelant tous les jours (en plus en anglais) pour changer la date. Tous les jours ils m'ont dit d'attendre qu'ils me rappellent ce qu'ils ont fait 1 fois (et la sonnerie n'avait même pas eu le temps de sonner 1 fois) alors que j'ai dû les appeler au total une dizaine de fois. On a failli se retrouver sans endroit pour dormir et même si j'ai été très voir trop aimable avec eux ils n'ont rien fait pour m'aider outre que dire "je vais en discuter avec mes supérieurs et je vous donnerai une réponse dans 24h". Au total deux nuits dans un hôtel bas de gamme nous a coûté 450 euro (pour deux). Le pire c'est que j'ai fini par leur envoyer un mail en leur demandant de me répondre et de me rembourser, cependant par mail ils sont moins patient et aimable et ont refusé ma demande indiquant que l'hôtel n'avait jamais répondu à leur mail. Du coup j'ai demandé à l'accueil de l'hôtel et l'agence ne leur a RIEN envoyé. J'ai donc envoyé par mail une confirmation de la part de l'hôtel de mon annulation ainsi qu'un message de ce dernier qui précise qu'ils n'ont jamais reçu de mail. Depuis plus aucune réponse évidemment :)
J'ai passé 4 bonnes heures au téléphone, ils ont ruiné mes vacances car j'étais paniqué à l'idée de n'avoir nulle part où dormir et le pire c'est que je suis resté aimable tout du long. Ne réservez jamais chez eux.

Site à fuir, il ont fait une erreur lors de la transmission des informations à l'hôtel. Au final il nous manqué une chambre. Nous avons du achetez une nouvelle chambre. Le site ne réponds pas aux mails et impossible de les joindre par téléphone. C'est une arnaque fuyez.

"SCAM - they book rooms but don't pass on your payment to the hotels"

I wouldn't recommend Traveluro. I booked a hotel with them to attend a wedding - when I contacted the hotel directly to double check that they made the booking I discovered they booked the wrong day. Emailed Traveluro - no reply. Ended up having to call multiple times before they managed to finally resolve it & got charged by phone provider for the pleasure of being repeatedly put on hold for 10 - 20 mins then hung up on as apparently it's a premium rate enquiry line. Confirmed directly with hotel that booking had been rectified to correct date so it was all worth the hassle - or so I thought. Turned up at the hotel only to discover that they never received payment from Traveluro for the room booking. So I ended up having to pay TWICE. Have attempted to dispute the charge as Traveluro have been unable to provide proof that they paid the hotel but they somehow got out of it by informing Amex that the booking was non-refundable, despite me providing copious evidence that they have failed to provide the service I paid them for. So yeah, don't make the same mistake as me & think that if the hotel confirms your booking that it'll be fine.

"Canceled without Notification"

Booked 2 nights in New Orleans three months before my stay. Called hotel days before, and the reservation was canceled by Traveluro days after my booking. No emails or communication by Traveluro about my cancellation. Called to report my booking. They took my information (supposedly booking No. wasn't enough to pull my account). I'm supposed to receive a call back, but at this point do not expect to hear from them, only through my CC dispute.

Website was laggy and I managed to book the incorrect date. Within 4 minutes of booking I was on the phone to them, asking could they amend the date. I was told it was possible and that she would phone me back within an hour to confirm it was done. I was happy to pay more and made this very clear - I didnt want a refund just wanted to amend the date. I headed to the hotel as the booking was for tonight and waited in reception for the confirmation call I was promised.

The lady called back and despite saying yes initially decided to refuse it. I was at this point sat in the hotel as I had been told it was possible.

Really awful company. Would not recommend

"Traveluro are a bunch of thieves"

The Mojave Desert hotel I booked through Traveluro informed me of a planned power outage for their area and offered credit since they would not be able to power the Air Conditioning. Traveluro said the hotel refused to issue them credit and so they could not offer credit to me. I was in contact with the management of the hotel throughout who assured me they would credit Traveluro. Traveluro (Splitty Travel) are a bunch of thieves and crooks. I will never book through them again.
