"Extremely Disappointed - Avoid Traveluro at All Costs!"
I recently had a terrible experience with Traveluro and feel compelled to share it to warn others. I booked a hotel through their website and, unfortunately, needed to cancel the reservation. According to Traveluro's policy, they review each cancellation request and update the status. However, this was not my experience at all.
I reached out to Traveluro multiple times, sending four emails detailing my cancellation request. None of these emails were answered. In addition, I made several phone calls to their customer service, but these calls went unanswered and unreturned.
It’s clear that Traveluro has no intention of providing customer support or honoring their stated policies. Their lack of response and complete disregard for my cancellation request have left me feeling frustrated and cheated. They have effectively stolen my money by ignoring my attempts to resolve the issue.
Based on this experience, I highly advise against using Traveluro for any travel bookings. Their customer service is non-existent, and they do not follow through on their promises. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Traveluro completely.

"Beware when booking a hotel"
I made a hotel reservation via Go Splitty at least a month before the check-in date. Nine days before I was due to leave home, I received an email from Go Splitty informing me that the hotel I had booked had over subscribed, so now I didn’t have a reservation. I was offered an alternative hotel or my money back. I chose to accept the alternative accommodation.
I then looked up Go Splitty online and the reviews were less than positive to say the least. I wasn’t hopeful that I would get an alternative reservation because the email from Go Splitty stated that it was subject to availability and as the price of the stay was now double what I paid originally, I couldn’t see how they could get a room of the same standard at this late stage.
I saw online that someone else had experienced something similar but their dilemma was worse because when they arrived at the hotel, the hotel didn’t have any knowledge of them and their booking didn’t exist.
I then went back and looked at my previous correspondence with Go Splitty and I could see that I only received a receipt for my payment, which stated that this wasn’t a confirmation of booking and to wait for the hotel voucher.
It was clear that I didn’t have a reservation in the first place either.
I emailed Customer Support and to their credit they did reply the same day. The person dealing with my booking was called ’Rome’. She got back to me with a hotel confirmation code, so I contacted the hotel directly in order to check that the hotel knew of this late booking, which they did, so hats off to Rome.
Considering the time difference between the USA and the UK and the time for the hotel to confirm the new booking, I think that Rome did a marvellous job sorting this problem out.
My advice to anyone booking a hotel via this company is to make sure that you obtain a hotel voucher straight away and then confirm the booking with the hotel directly.
I haven’t given this company maximum stars because I am not happy with the way they operate, but I have no complaint regarding their customer service.

At the hotel check-in we found out that, Traveluro never actually booked the room that we booked through their website and received the confirmation for it. All we got from their support was lies. Lost £500 and got no excuses. They are scammer.

I booked a hotel that, upon arrival, was closed. I wasn't notified of the closure before arrival, and Traveluro did not respond to my calls or emails requesting assistance. I am very surprised that Google even lists this company as a booking option, given their absolutely shoddy customer care.
