"Be Forewarned!!"

I tried to make a booking for a hotel on Google Maps by typing the dates that I wanted and choosing among different booking agencies after I picked a hotel. Traveluro price was suspiciously lower than the competition, but I decided to risk it on the unknown travel site since I was so tempted by the price.

I did my booking and I got to confirmation. However, when I came to the hotel I was told that the booking was made for exactly the same dates that I requested but for a different month. The hotel manager also said that there were no free rooms at the hotel that would accommodate my party. I had to make last minute booking across town. It cost me double the price I paid to Traveluro.

When they contacted Traveluro about this situation and explained to them that their software changed the month on my booking from my request on Google Maps they refused to refund any of my money.

I had a problem where after I booked my reservation it was canceled with the explanation I cancelled it, which I did not. So I made another reservation and I contacted customer service team, who then contacted the hotel to make sure my reservation is on their books and they provided me the hotel’s confirmation number in addition to my booking number.

The day of my booking was the day the red weather warning hit scotland. The hotel did not charge this company for my booking due to the country being closed down but this joke of a company would not let me change the date of the booking due to their “strict” rules, will never use them again 😡😡😡

Do not book through Traveluro!!!! I tried to cancel and reschedule a hotel room and they would not help me. I contacted the hotel directly and they were extremely helpful and said absolutely I could reschedule due to a snowstorm but I would have to go through Traveluro as I booked through them. I called their customer service and was told I would get an email and I should explain the situation and someone would be in contact with me. I have sent multiple emails and no one has ever responded. So now it looks like I am out the $200.00. Save your money and book directly with the hotel.

I made 2 booking for Jan 19 2025 and when i reach hotel the hotel couldnt find my 1 booking as it was overbooked
and traveluro refunded me
I wish i would have booked by myself and not through this website as it was a big hastle for me with 3 kids and 2 elder parents

I was a little worried because of all the bad reviews I read here but I must say that everything went fine.
We called the hotel right after booking and received confirmation that the order came through.

"Booked a hotel for 2 adults"

Booked a hotel for 2 adults. Only put my name and wanted to add my guest name in as I was travelling in from Kelowna through a huge snowstorm. I had booked the room for 2 adults and asked them to add my guest name so that they could atleast check in and not have to wait in the car so I could take my time to safely drive. Took them hours and hours and atleast 12 phone calls. Back and forth from telling me to call the hotel, the hotel told me to call them, Traveluro claims they will call back in 30 minutes, then 1 hour, then 2 hours and no call back. All the while on their own website it gives the option to add a guest name...which doesn't work. My guest ended up going to another hotel and booking somewhere else because they were so sick and tired of waiting and I had already prepaid 200.00 for the room. Do not use this 3rd party site they are no help whatsoever at 9pm they emailed (NOT CALLED LIKE THEY SAID) that they had sent the email to the hotel. At 9pm! Thanks for absolutely nothing
