I lost my phone and had to call customer service from a friends phone from work. Claire in GLS customer service was very helpful and professional, she arranged to have my parcel dropped to a GLS location near me Bombay Bazaar. Collected my parcel no hassle, the lads in Bombay Bazaar were also very understanding.
I really appreciate your help and professional manner with this matter Claire, thank you.

Got a delivery of a dog kennel left at my side. It was delivered damage free but the problem is we were not notified before the delivery. I got the delivery and it was fine and undamaged but please text your customers like DHL before you deliver a packet

I wish I could give a 0 star but that isn't an option. Dishonest company and enable there deliver drivers to be dishonest. I purchased an item from a company and recieved an email stating it had been delivered. I as home all day and no parcel was delivered I was gave the run around for weeks by the driver and the GLS company. They told me it was left outside my house. I never gave permission for this. My name was forged not once but twice on delivery notes on 2 dates weeks apart if they had left it outside the house like the driver stated how on earth did they deliver it weeks later . Lies lies and more lies I have correspondence from driver stating he would reimburse. More lies
I contacted the company I purchased the items from they" investigated " but once they got 2 delivery notes with my signature forged twice they closed the case. Do not use this dishonest useless company
I will be seeking re imbursement through the small claims court.

"JOKE"

have a damaged packaged that needed to be returned to sender, the sender is located 5km (10 min drive) away from the parcel center, Could not be delivered due to traffic issues now for the past three days. These crowd in Ireland Ballinacarrig Parcel center are a joke to deal with. If yous see this, please return my package, the sender is only 10 mins away from you, Id appreciate it.

"Stating delivered but no parcel received!!"

My parcel was out for delivery on the 4th, when I checked the progress it said it had been delivered and signed by myself, which it wasnt and I never received the parcel! I got onto customer service and they were very prompt at getting back to me and they were very apologetic but their solution was to give the driver 3 working days to rectify the situation and if he doesn't they will investigate further! I'm not very happy, still no parcel and no updates.
When I rang today (thursday) I was told after today they are closed until Tuesday so i have to give the driver until next Wednesday to explain where my parcel is! An absolute joke!

"Just a Mixed Bag Overall"

The service was ok, but the delivery was a day late. They did not provided enough information on their Trackers that other companies do. I stayed at home all day because they don't have time windows and it didn't arrive on that day. Said "due to traffic".

I don't think they are as bad as the reviews make out, but if there are other options on the market and you need something delivered fast/high value/perishable goods I'd suggest going with someone else.

The customer service team are a mixed bag. One call was polite, another was a bit abrupt/rude and didn't seem she wanted to work there. There was no follow up with the email ticket I sent in either. The driver himself was polite when he got here.

The Tracker itself is also a mess. There are no specific timeframes but when I asked the CS rep he told me the area and location that the driver was in. So they do have GPS systems for the drivers, they just don't have them on the parcels.

If I had a choice in the future I'd go with DPD/Amazon etc. But in this situation it was the supplier that set up the courier. I'll just make sure to ask who the Courier is next time first.

Gls couriers tend to leave your packages with random neigbours if no answer but don't ring you,luckely my neigbours are honest,ordered a phone once and the courier left it at a house five streets away from my house,dropped in and the owners denied getting it,phone shop replaced the phone and dealt with gls on their end,50/50 service

Woukd give minus stars if possible... Last time couldn't find my house even though had area code as phone number and after numerous texts and excuses over a couple of days left it in a shop 12 miles away, then saw them passing the house after I returned from retrieving the package . This time it said package delivered, but it wasn't and I was home all day, can't get past caller 6 on phone no matter what, they havnt replied to the company I ordered from or my email either it's been 4 days and seeing as it's Friday it looks like I'm gonna have to forget what I wanted it for this weekend. Disgusted will not be ordering from a company they are associated with again

"Unreliable ..Avoid"

Awaiting Package was out for delivery yesterday never arrived it said traffic problems.Rang head office they said he ran out of time .Today it said it will be delivered .Mid afternoon no sign so I called customer service they told me it will be delivered in 3 hours or less..Never arrived!..I wouldn’t mind it was going to be delivered to a pick up centre in town not like out in the country in the middle of nowhere ..Had arranged a day off to do the job .If I had known it was going to be GLS I’d never had purchased .I’ve emailed the company I purchased it from .Awaiting a reply
