Worst courier ever dealt with. Sent some parcels(solid boxes 10 pcs up to 20kg each) from Ireland to Netherlands and all arrived like dropped from the airplane

Attempted collection on the wrong day. Parcel return 1 week later with no explanation. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time - asking me to re book (and pay again) and then hang up when I started to talk about refund. Prefer DPD / an post... If you need to send a parcel!!!

A week now with being told this parcel will be collected.Today at 3.30pm a woman promised collection at around 5 today for "definite" just like last weeks daily "for definite"..."Address going missing from the system" the latest excuse even though i rang twice to go over every single part of address,eircode,name etc 2 days ago-the list goes on with the excuses ....an absolute farce-I've never experienced anything like this in all my shipping years.I am blown away by how bad this service is,truly blown away....whats tomorrows excuse for not being picked up today going to be?

"Great care with fragile cargo!!"
Hi, I received a parcel from gls and it came a day early. They where plants (perfect plant deal) from Rotherham to Ireland so I was worried they might be damaged. The day before I had a disaster of an order which where delivered (only from another county) From fastway courier's and plants where all out of pots, upside down and damaged in a battered box, . I want to thank GLS for their great service and quality and care they obviously take with fragile items, it's a great relief when you know you can rely on a solid courier service.

***update*** I SINCERELY APOLOGIES…after the weekend one of the drivers made sure I received my parcel in perfect condition. The reason for delivery status was due to the driver living on my street and he messaged to say he would drop it to me the following day. Gls took the extra step to ensure I got my items.
I would rather pigeon carrier to gls. They delivered my package yet it was not here when I got home when I contacted them about this they said “did the driver leave it in a safe place like a green bin, or with a neighbour?” So now I’m supposed to read minds because this driver did not leave a note to state where they had left my package. I live in a housing estate with very little places a parcel can be hidden. After searching high and low I did not find the parcel! No neighbours have came forward with it either. Customer services are now taking hours to respond (12hrs +) it is absolutely shocking the service they supply! How can you just leave someone’s package elsewhere and not get a signature for it or even write a note on its whereabouts??

"Very quick and reliable"
I placed an order with a company in England on Tuesday morning and the parcel was sent off on the same day. One day later I received a notification from GLS that my parcel is in the pipeline and it was here in Co. Clare on Thursday. Safely delivered and well dropped at the door. Thank you!
