"Poor quality"
Poor quality from a “premium” site. The outdoor plant stand I purchased was rusting and staining my floor within days of use. There are no warnings or advice on how to use this product on their website: only that it is "suitable for outdoor use"- when it is most definitely not. Customer service was prompt but not entirely helpful: their advice was that I should move the stand inside or to a sheltered spot or buy treatment for the iron (none of which is available information on the product page before purchase and the damage is already done). I have several other pieces of outdoor iron furniture from different retailers that do not rust like this. I was offered no compensation or replacement, only a refund of the delivery fee (which was £30). This was an expensive item RRP £250, and I would have expected a better product and customer care. An expensive mistake!

I ordered a parasol base last summer which, over the past few months, has completely degraded to the point it's falling apart and is no longer usable. I contacted Cox & Cox to seek a resolution and, as I didn't report any faults within 48 hours of receiving the item, they don't want to know. When I pointed out that a parasol base costing £130 ought to last longer than 6 months (and there's therefore an issue of durability, according to the consumer rights act) they stopped responding to my emails. Horrendous company - avoid!

Do not use this company. I ordered a very over priced basket which got to me in a battered box and took ages. It wasn’t worth the money so sent back. The refund process has been nothing but hard work with copious emails back and fourth and still no refund?! You have to pay for the return, track and insure the returning item which I did next day delivery with still no communication or money from cox and cox. If you value your time and money find another brand!
