"ABSOLUTELY HORRID!"
This company is ABSOLUTELY HORRID! They threatened my sister in law with a $250 fee for every day over three her trailer wasn't unloaded (and said it was customary). Five times they changed their story as to her delivery option: 1. she was informed they would deliver it to my house and she had three days to unload it. Then they changed their story and said that 2. they would store her items in their facility (for a small fee) since she had a full trailer 3. Then they said "oh sorry, we have not done that in a year, you need to make other arrangements" 4. then they came back with a we will drop it off at a location of her choice and the full trailer could stay there until she didn't need it. After previous options were discovered as outright lies, they again came back with 5. they would deliver it and leave it for three days so she again hoop jump to get somebody to unload it.
THEN: her stuff was delivered on Monday. Tuesday all was unloaded by 1115am. Company was called by 1130 and informed to pick up their trailer of which they swore they were in dire need of...The stupid trailer sat in front of my garage, on my property for FIVE days, now going on SIX. The company was called REPEATEDLY (I know of at least 9 times over the course of four days) and informed to pick up their trailer. All they are doing is USING their customers as FREE STORAGE for their blasted trailers! I called the company and informed them of their abandoned trailer to which I was sarcastically informed, "no ma'am, it was not abandoned, it is only a late pick up." LATE Pickup? SIX DAYS late when they say that they are in need of empty trailers? Really? Save yourself the stress and go a different route, these people are thieves, liars and users!

"They cancelled and didn't tell me"
I was moving from Texas to the mountains in Colorado. I booked a u-pack and though complicated it seemed like a good value compared to regular moving companies. The issue with U-pack is that it would not deliver the container outside Denver and so after I booked it I had to find another moving company to collect from the u-pack location in Denver and complete the final leg of the journey. As I tried to arrange this and packers in Texas I found a regular moving company at a similar price and it was much simpler. U-Pack had offered free cancellation understanding that I needed to make these other arrangements. When I called u-pack they said they had already cancelled my booking because their Denver location was full. They admitted they had not tried to contact me and so I could have booked movers at both ends of the trip only to discover on the day that u-pack did not deliver the container. Be warned if you book u-pack that you proactively check that your booking doesn't get cancelled by them

"Moved from Atlanta to Seattle, they are AWESOME!"
They are genuinely great ... not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews.
I moved from Atlanta to Seattle through them and used their "ReloCube Moving Containers", the experience couldn't be better, and the steps were very straightforward.
1. U-Pack simply come drop the relocation cubes in front of your house based on how many of those cubes you reserved.
2. You have all the time to load the stuff and no need to care about how many items you have as long as you can fit them in the cube.
3. Once you are ready, simply tell them when to come pick the cubes up as well as when to drop the cubes at your new place.
4. Similarly, you have all the time to unload and once you are done simply tell them when to come take the cubes away.
Will definitely go to them again in the future.

"Horrible customer service!!!"
Horrible customer service! Don’t recommend this company ever!
I have been using upack every month for my small furniture business. There’s a huge communication barrier between upack and abf which happens to own upack. I normally load my items at a terminal in Del Ray beach Florida and gets delivered to Los Angeles. The location at Del Ray is horrible since they literally took two empty pods without notice assuming that it was all loaded and finished. Well it took me several days trying to reach someone at upack to get this solved. I spoke with Amber who is the “supervisor”. She didn’t really empathize with me since I lost money and time having to hire movers to load my items in the pod to realize the pods were missing. We settled to an agreement and she reimbursed me, we planned on another schedule to do the pods to find out the pods were missing yet again. The lack of communication at the terminal location is beyond me. They have zero care of what pods are there. I tried calling for hours to get a hold of someone who can actually help. The upack customer service number directs me automatically to the location where I live and not to corporate. I was then transferred to Neil who is another supervisor. Told me I should go elsewhere since they don’t handle small businesses. Also said that it should only take “1 hour” to load everything in 2 pods. He found no solution for me and wanted to end the call because I was stating I’m a small business. My small business is moving furniture items from across states. I was then transferred to Chelsea who is another supervisor that agreed with everyone else saying I should only be moving household items. Does she not understand that furniture is household items? She stated she’s been there for over 60 years and that she’s never had an issue with customers loading items into 2 pods within 1 hour. I’m going to keep reaching out until I speak to a manager (higher up) that manages all three of those supervisors. It seems all 3 supervisors are incompetent/ lack great customer service skills and communication. This needs to get handled correctly, they also just lost my business. I’ve spent over 15k with them but I’m happy to go with a different company. I had to share this horrible experience because no one should ever have to go through this or deal with horrible communication and disrespect!!!

"Exceptional service."
Was moving across the country. Went on their website and got a quote. Reserved the pod.I called to verify that I had chosen the correct size. They called to notify me when delivery would be done. Pick-up was on time during the window they said. Received updates and the delivery window via SMS. Called to request a change in the delivery date, which they facilitated without extra cost. On the day of delivery was called 30mins before delivery, the gentleman place the POD so it could be easily unloaded.Once unloaded called and the came to pick up. I had absolutely no issues.

"I used U pack for a move from PA to NC"
I used U pack for a move from PA to NC. I was skeptical about the moving business in general.
My Upack experience could not have been more professional! Every person I spoke with from initial call through to final truck pick up was polite, professional, and extremely helpful. The origin and destination center staff helped me organize my move. The drivers were polite, responsive, and ON TIME. Almost everything arrived in perfect condition.
I will recommend Upack to others. They were very helpful in making what could have been a stressfull project, very un-stressful.
I had plenty of time to load the truck at my home. They picked it up on time and parked it EXACTLY where i asked. They gave me plenty of time to unload at the new house and even let me know i had options if i fell behind schedule.
Fantastic company. Fantastic experience.
The price was right as well.

"I've used Upack before and it was…"
I've used Upack before and it was great. couldn't have been happier with their service. now however is a different story. they told me the truck would be at my house for packing between 8-12. Then between 1-2 THEN they wouldn't give me a time frame. it finally arrived at 4 pm. I had men standing by to pack which for early day packing was affordable, evening packing was double. Then when I arrived at my destination, I was told it would be another week atleast for the truck to arrive due to driver shortage. That sounds like a problem they should have had under control. Then I had to pay double once again for unloading on Thanksgiving Day!!! oh but wait, they did reimburse me a measly $100 out of a $4300 dollar billing. I will say customer service was polite and courteous and the driver (when he finally got here) was a terrific driver and very pleasant.

"Terrible"
Terrible! Our cube came in 3 weeks late and once it arrived nearly $1500 worth of furniture and equipment was damaged and glasses that were bubble wrapped in boxes broken. Had I known all of my stuff would be damaged I would have sold everything and bought new instead of wasting my time with this company.

"Repeat Customer No More Thanks to JESSE"
I have used U-Pack on more than one move across the country and as of today I can say that they have gone down hill thanks to JESSE out of the main office in Oklahoma.
I had moved across the country back in April and had the Lawrenceville, GA office hold my cube ever since. I was told to call the main line to get them to adjust my full monthly rate because my bill due date is tomorrow October 6th and I'm having my cube delivered this Friday, October 8th.
JESSE refused to help me after I have been informed that they normally due this.
So now I'm paying my full 30 day fee for a few days.
BEWARE of speaking with this kid and using this company.
They obviously could use losing customers!!!!!

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!"
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! The details are long and devious. Not going to regurgitate them here. Bottom line . . . Booked them a month out. Confirmed several times making sure they could drop off in the mountains. Day of delivery said the couldn’t deliver because of the mountains and asked me to rent a truck, pack it up, drive an hour to them, unload it and reload it into their container. THIS IS GOING TO COST SO MUCH DAMN MONEY I CAN BARELY SEE STRAIGHT RIGHT NOW. DO NOT USE THEM!
