"Endless computer, App and Contact Problems with CBS!"

I wanted to log-in to change how interest is paid. I tried their App but it doesn't let you do that; you have to use the web-site. I couldn't log in! Got 'This site can't be reached' with no explanation, just 'Try again'. Kept trying without success but saw the phone number: I phoned and they are closed (nearly all the weekend!) They suggest I can 'Call into a Branch'! (On Friday evening?!) So I tried to contact CBS using email - difficult to find unless you are making a complaint. 6 hours later, the site worked and I tried to send a 'Secure Message' but this failed because I used 'Unusual Characters'! Although it IS Chinese New Year, I used English! All this took hours in total and the worst part.....? It KEEPS happening! Customers need to be able to contact their financial institutions - particularly for emergencies (which this wasn't). Now they've sent me a Feedback link so I can tell them how I feel...guess what?!!..'This site can't be reached'. Staff are great, apologetic and sympathetic but their software and computer systems seem very 'Atari' !

Just read some reviews on here and thought I’d add my own experience.
We recently noticed that the Coventry had a better product than the one we were saving in (would have been nice for Coventry to inform savers of this and not rely on their customers having to check), so we asked if our money could be moved to this account via their online secure portal. Unfortunately, unlike other establishments they informed us they wouldn’t do this and that we must set up a new account ourselves, which included them writing to us for signatures etc. After years of saving with them we felt this was not what we wanted every time a better product came along so opted to move our money to another establishment instead.

"Bleeding leeches"

Bleeding leeches. They've set up their processes in a way to F you over whatever you do. I paid them a lump sum in good faith, they took advantage and charge me 1000s of £ on top of that. I tried to argue my case but they'll rip you off anyway as they are in the business of sucking their clients dry. Not to say that when I started working with them they took 2 mortgage installments in a 2 week period and the cow I spoke to and asked to give me my money back tried to accuse me of not being able to fulfill my part of the contract. Bleeding leeches will suck your blood without batting an eyelid.
