"Aspinal Black Messenger Bag"
Returned my birthday present to Aspinal store at Bank in the city of London. A black leather messenger bag that my wife paid £280 for I only used it twice to go on holiday to hold passport and money etc. The zip broke because of a stitching fault. Aspinal took the bag and kept it for about six weeks my wife went back in and they said that they couldn’t replace the zip and there was nothing they could do.
Guess what Aspinal you have just lost a regular customer I won’t be coming back 😡

Order with a 5 day delivery . 2 weeks has passed and the goods are still in their store moving back and forth from UK to Germany and UK ( PS.. Delivery is Italy)

The bags are beautiful, but the quality is disappointing. I purchased two less than a year ago, barely used them, and both have already broken—one at the chain and the other at the handle. To make matters worse, customer service hasn’t even responded to my emails about a repair.

"One of the worst companies I have had…"
One of the worst companies I have had to deal with.
I usually buy from Chanel or Louis Vuitton but decided I would give Aspinal of London products a try after discovering the Midi Mayfair online.
I ordered the Midi Mayfair in black and English lavender on 05/02/2025 and both bags were sent via Royal Mail. However, when opening the boxes, I found both bags had marks on them. The lavender one had such poor finish on the rims of the bag where the colour had come off in many places. I took pictures and sent them to Aspinal customer service.
The rollercoaster began there for me with this company. Things only got worse from that point, as I was left waiting for weeks for replacements order WEBS1877953 in particular. When they arrived they too were sent defective!
Order WEBS1885849 had been placed on 21/02/25 and is still showing pending, nothing has been sent, though they are happy to take my money from the get go when placing orders!
After I complained about the rubbish service and quality checks on goods sent to me, they paid me £50 goodwill sum for all the nonsense they put me through, only to take it back from
my account when I returned an item I didn’t want... A complete joke! They have still not honoured this compensation amount.
Customer service is full of individuals who lie, avoid doing any work, say they will call you back when they won’t. Do not bother responding to customer emails and complaints by phone or writing. Al***, E****, C****** and Am**** pay lip service to the customer and do, not much frankly, to resolve problems.
If you want to receive poor quality goods, chase your orders and go through countless pointless conversations with Aspinal customer service, then go ahead and buy. Otherwise AVOID! You will save yourself a lot of time and energy.
