"They cost me a fortune"

I signed up for Look After my bills for energy companies after reading about them in The Times. And for the 1st time ever I signed up for a non-Big 6 energy company as they suggested. That decision has cost me £1,000.

What I hadn’t realised was the Look after my Bills only looks at the spot price of different contracts. They don’t look at Resilience or ability to withstand different events. As a consequence of their flawed recommendation I am now on a punitive tariff with one of the Big 6 as the company they recommended ceased trading as energy prices have increased dramatically in recent years. At EXACTLY the point in time when I needed price protection - when prices are increasing exponentially- they have left me severely financially exposed.

I can work out if one price is higher than another. That’s not difficult. And that seems to be all they did. They were seeking to save me £’s but left me exposed to a £1,000 loss.

"Changing to peoples energy , will COST YOU money!"

Changing to peoples energy, do they they have an interest in this company ? Has cost me over £400.!
Email after email asking where my money is have never been answered, just the now boring repeating pre set
Emails are all I have received , if you value you money
DO NOT even entertain letting this much published anywhere near your interest .WHO ? Has got my money !

"Ignoring customers"

I'm emailing them via their support address and get an automated FAQ reply that doesn't cover my question. No contact number, no help or assistance in any way. MORE than useless.

"Sounded good on Dragon's Den…ended up in the fire"

Sounded good on Dragon's Den so I signed-up. The first switch generated a small saving. Then, they automatically switched me to People's Energy and British Gas Evolve at the same time. I had two suppliers as was in limbo. I assumed my account would eventually settle with the much cheaper British Gas, but it went to People's Energy despite my efforts to prevent this. I was glad when People's Energy folded, meaning I went to BG after all. I cancelled my account with Look After My Bills and in the end spent more money and more time using their 'service' than I would browsing suppliers in the 'old fashioned way'. The algorithm should have a quick and easy cancel and reversal feature.

"Marketing beef dirt!"

Had a credit with Bulb before agreeing to the LAMB contract. They switched me to Spark Energy, who are parent companies with OVO, who I've had issues with before and guess what, My DD doubled within 3 months to over £200 for electric and £130 for gas...
tried contacting LAMB several times to complain and was also advised them I no longer wisedh to be with Spark Energy, as OVO's service was shambolic back in 2018 and as their parent company, I wanted NOTHING to do with OVO or Spark Energy alike. They were advised of this before I agreed to their contract.

Now told by spark I have to stay with them for one year before I can switch!! or be fined!!
Ridiculous, I shouldn't have listed to the marketing beef dirt!

"If I could give negative stars I would"

If I could give negative stars I would. This 'company' are the worst imaginable. Not only did they set us up with a tiny provider who went under almost straight away, but they incorrectly assessed our usage which was passed onto the new provider and since then we've been paying for electricity and gas we didn't use and no-one wants to do anything about it, especially those timewasters at Look after My Bills who are happy to sign you up with people who cock up your finances and then don't want to know when the company is no longer around. DO NOT USE THESE FOOLS
