"Un paid invoices"

Do not deal with this company, they do not pay invoices and customer service is non existent, in the end I had to resort to using a debt collection agency to recoup my losses

"Absolutely terrible service"

Absolutely terrible service. Tesco vehicle hit my car without reporting luckily had CCTV. Sopp and Sopp are dealing with the claim on behalf Tesco. Can never get through, when I do either system down or leave message no call back. Spoken to someone on Monday still no news on getting a hire car. Car booked in tomorrow for repair had to cancel, due to not hearing back or having transport

I wouldn’t bother just go though your own insurance big time wasters . Absolutely shocking don’t believe what they say. A sainsbury truck ran in back of my son on 02/08/2022, they were quick to ring him say don’t go through your insurance as we can get it done as it was sainsburys driver’s fault and you get a hire car why yours is been repaired. 16 days later no contact from them selves so rang today and no wiser when they will pick it up to be repaired. So now got go though his own insurance

If I could leave 0 I would! Incompetent people, all together with Wincanton!!!
An absolute joke! We have been hit by a Wilko car and we have been given details of Wincanton which passed the issue to Sopp and Sopp. They came and took our car, kept it for over 5 weeks for a wing mirror repair.
Now, they did not give us a courtesy car for the first 2 and a half weeks! After several phone calls they finally accepted to give us a car. For the first 2 weeks we had to use taxis as our workplace is far away and there is no direct link by transport. We have now put through the expenses ( about 3 weeks ago) haven’t heard a word.absolutely disappointed. If you can avoid them, please do! No wonder why everyone has left a bad review!

"Liars or incompetent ?"

I wish I could award minus stars. They have been awful. A bus smashed up my car 16/6 & I have been waiting 5 weeks for a repair / replacement vehicle. I have only once got through on the phone at all & that took 15 minutes. The only e-mail address on their website is for the sales dept, who have, of course, not answered my e-mails. The call centre never answer e-mails & have failed to call me back many times. They have twice told me a replacement vehicle is coming on a given date, but it hasn't - lies or ineptitude ? The replacement vehicle company are just as bad. I can't work with no car, so I have lost a huge amount because of their incompetence. If you can avoid them, I urge you to do so. They are useless and uncaring.

"Great service!"

I recently had a Tesco van reverse into my car. I had my doubts about the service I would receive from Sopp & Sopp due to the reviews but to my pleasant surprise I honestly couldn't fault them. They kept in regular contact about my car and organised to have this picked up and taken to the garage. They then sent me regular updates and the car was fixed within 2 weeks. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the hire car as it took longer than I hoped to receive this but this was more to do with the hire company than Sopp and Sopp. Thank you for a great service.

"Shocking service really unorganised…"

Shocking service really unorganised left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

You have to permanently chase them to get things organised.

Had the repairer (who are excellent) turn up to drop off my car expecting to pick up the hire vehicle and was left stranded. Poor chap was at my house over an hour waiting for a lift.

"My car has been damaged by a delivery…"

My car has been damaged by a delivery van. Rear door scratched and door handled completely torn off. From day one they have got in touch with me and offered me the full repair of the damages. I wanted to use my own Volvo body shop and they accepted. They have sorted a courtesy car for me. They even got another hire car company as the one they had originally taken didn't take non UK driving licences. have nothing but praise for the care they have provided me. Car is being repaired and should be back with me in a couple weeks. Thank you Sopp and Sopp.

"VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE"

My parked car was hit by a reversing Isle of Wight Rubbish collection truck. I have been referred to this Sopp and Sopp Insurance. It's nearly a month now and no results. I kept phoning them up to follow up and when they promise to call me back, they do not call back! They also informed me that they have a car hire for me and will repair my car today. I waited and waited but there's no call from them. I decided to contact them at 11 am to be told that they don't have a car hire in the Island. They also asked me to contact the repair shop if they issue a courtesy car or pay for a car hire and they will reimburse or use the public transport going to work. This is ridiculous! I do not have to do the chasing as I am the one who was inconvenienced. I am also a community nurse who travels from house to house. How can I use public transport with my line of work? This is getting so frustrating and unfair!
