I'm an old man and I take up a lot of time to get my hearing air adjusted--The lady doesn't have the time--she is over worked and spread too thin--. I will not buy another hearing aid from your company ---The aids are great-- I'm getting ready to purchase an all in the canal aid. The last aid I bought they had a new personal in office to try an adjust my new aid over the computer with someone with a Kentucky accent ---bad experience. If I could hear that well, I wouldn't need a hearing aid. I don't know what date. You don't want a review.

I have been concerned since the onset of my experience with my Starkey hearing aids. The device for my right ear has been somewhat problematic from the beginning. Now when I place both in the recharger which I must do in order to use the television application, the right hearing aid requires 90 minutes more than the left to recharge.

"Comfortable volume level on TV"

Recently replaced my 5+ year old Starkey hearing aids with a new pair of Starkey hearing aids. What a difference! My best indication of just how much difference is the number on the TV volume control. I was cranking up the volume to somewhere between 30 and 40 and with the new hearing aids I can hear the TV better at something below 20, sometimes just above 20, maybe 22 or 23. Conversations are also much easier to follow now.

I love the bluetooth useage with my hearing aids but while traveling on planes the hearing aids do not hear very well at all. I have to go to other means to hear with while on the plane. I have asked my audiodistist about turning up the volume and they said you can't. So, that is the reason why I gave it the score I have given. I also like the fact that it keeps the oil out of the hearing aids too. I have had other hearing aids and they failed because my body produces a lot of oil and it got into the hearing aids where my Starkey Hearing aids don't do that.

improve the application on phone for better control of the hearing aids. Ap fails most of the time when i need to make a change for environment.
Rechargable batteries will not last a full day of use. My hearing aids are 3 years old and by 7pm the batteries are showing 20% battery life left.

I had a hearing test to determine if my aids needed a program adjustment - they did. This is my second pair of totally in the canal aids (lost one of the first pair!). While these are several years old I am not presently in a position to replace them. Fortunately I did get help by the adjustment. I appreciate the comfort as well as the discretion they provide.

I am disappointed in my behind the ear hearing aids. From the very beginning when I purchased the AI 2400, the hearing aids continually disconnected. The last time this happenened to the original pair, I could not turn back on. This pair was replaced. The new pair I received also would disconnect, but not as frequently as the first pair. However, with the replacement pair, one of the aids began to have a constant squelsh sound that interfered with my hearing. This aid was replaced and I no longer have the squelsh sound. However, I still have a occasional problem with the aids disconnecting. Also, the cord which goes over the ear is very visible because it does not lay flat against the side of the head. I have seen other behind the ear aids when the cord is hardly noticeable--- almost invisible. The cord lays flat against the head. Considering that the hearing aids are not water resistant like some other aids, I have to be real careful in the rain not to get them wet. This is not always easy. Taking them in and out is a real pain. This increases the chance that I could lose them.

We need a better interface between the iPhone and Starkey. The microphone covers need to be a little firmer when user is wearing Starkey, oxygen and glasses. Overall, they do a great job. The Holy Grail of hearing a close conversation be understandable with exterior noise is still being sought.

"Love The New Evlov AI"

I have been wearing Starkey hearing aides for a little over 10 years. My aids come from the VA. Both the aids and the supplier have been top notch with their service and the product.
My latest devices are the Evolv AI. They are the best so far! They stream seamlessly to my iPhone and switch instantly to my truck. Along with the Thrive app, I can set the aids to accommodate almost any hearing environment. The addition of the television setting, in the app, is really helpful.
A large part of my hearing disability is very poor word recognition. I still need to rely on watching the speakers face to pickup on some words.
