I love having hearing aids. It can be a big love/hate relationship somedays but i really enjoy being able to hear everything and tune out the noises my ears make.

I love my Starkey Evolvs, I wear them from (roughly) 7am to 10pm! But I still cannot understand with all the technology you brag about being built into them, they cannot connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to my APPLE/Mac computer at work as they have flawlessly connected wirelessly to my APPLE/iPhone! So for Zoom/MS Teams calls I have to REMOVE-to-REPLACE them with OTHER ear buds that WILL connect wirelessly to my Mac computer! This is a incomprehensibly technological short-coming—particularly for as much as they cost! I’m totally dumbfounded, this is UNIVERSAL BLUETOOTH—not a proprietary Apple thing. All OTHER buds can connect to my Mac, why can’t yours!? But we’re to come to you for the technology advances to hear? Please work with Apple's MacOS—as you have with their iOS (on iPhone)—to enable them to connect wirelessly to my Apple/Mac computer please? -you CAN do it! Meanwhile... you advise me to contact my hearing professional for a "TableMic"? uhhhh YOU ARE my hearing professional! This is so disappointing for a company that boasts "technological advances"...apparently not all of them. Never-mind, I'll go buy a cheap set of over-the-ear 'cans' : (

"My Starkey hearing aids have been…a huge disappointment and a waste of money."

My Starkey hearing aids have been nothing but problem after problem since I purchased them less than 4 years ago. I've had 3 devices replaced under warranty and 1 out of warranty. My 2nd device is experiencing battery failure like the other one which was replaced in January, My audiologist now tells me it is a lithium battery issue and he no longer sells rechargeable units. I'm also on my 3rd charging unit at a cost of $169. $4500 hearing aids that have failed to live up to the claims made when I purchased them. Starkey has since informed me that they would reach out to my audiologist to see if they could help and now almost 30 days later no help was ever offered. Given the current inflated prices if hearing devices this is shameful!

"The missing sounds"

The hearing aids require little to no maintenance, and are very easy to insert. I am hearing sounds I never even knew existed, like the ticking of the clock in my study, the sound of my car's direction indicators (were forever leaving them on) and the voice of the waitress in a crowded restaurant. I can even hear the sound of the wind in the trees and the birds in early morning. I have missed out on so much, I can not wait for my first visit to the sea with them, I will be able to hear the smallest waves

"I have had two pair of Starkey ITC…"

I have had two pair of Starkey ITC hearing aids ( Muse and Picasso), now going to a RIC Livio. Since wearing hearing aids about 5 years ago, I have enjoyed getting together with people, going places (sports games of grandchildren, plays, watching tv and understanding what was said, listening to country music, etc.). While it took a while to get use to them, it has “paid off” in the long run. One of the best accessories I got was a SurfLink remote, which I am told that it will not work with the Livio. Wish I could trade it in for on that will work with Livio. Disappointed you have to buy different accessories for different levels/models of Starkey products.

"IT WOULD TAKE A CLOSE ANALYSIS BY ALL PHISICIANS CONCERNED"

It's not easy. I don't know if I am losing my balance easily because of my medication, because of the end of my toes feeling like plastic or wood or because of my glasses or why not? Because of all my medication. Hard to tell. Also they are difficult to wear with my glasses because of the problem of wearing them at the same time. It gets to be complicated to figure out where the problem really is. It's not going to be fixed with a review that's for sure.

The hearing aids are great, but my local audiologist just does not comprehend how to take out the inner ear resonance and has so messed up my hearing aid that it is nearly useless now.

Just had new aids fitted one works well the other falls out of my ear have to be careful the firm has tried twice to fix the problem. I get the aids to work well in their room and is good but go out into the shopping centre and it is difficult hearing what individuals are saying. Most disappointed in the aids with the money spent.

Began 2 weeks ago wearing hearing aides. Heard horror stories about being in a group or loud noises in a room. Watched a friend adjust in disgust her HA. Last night different friend adjusted his HA as noise was irritating him.
Both instances, I was great. No adjustments needed. Yes!!! Starkey !
