The fact that I got these Avl hearing aides has been grand! I was at a okay stage but audiologist said these would improve my hearing and they have done just that for sure and more.

"Problem with the charger."

I really don't care for the clear hard plastic ear pieces. They are difficult to insert and limit additional sound to whatever comes through the small hole in them. Also, I think the charging unit with the dehumidifier puck bends the ear piece and wire from the main unit when the lid is closed. I think this may have been the reason why I had to have my hearing aid repaired recently. The charging unit needs to be redesigned with a deeper cup so that hearings aids aren't bent by the puck when the lid is closed. I'll go back to the rubber ear pieces next time I get new hearing aids.

"When I got new Starkey hearing aids"

When I got new Starkey hearing aids. They work fine.However, the app that controls the sound for tv lasted about a week the app to use to turn the sound on disappeared from my iPhone. The other apps are there. The one to listen to tv is gone. I went back to VA they got it back up. It lasted for 1 Day

"Bluetooth connectivity is spotty even…"

Bluetooth connectivity is spotty even with the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. No notification of messages or phone calls are announced in the hearing aids. Placing the phone in a pants pocket effectively disconnects the Bluetooth. Still can't connect them via Bluetooth to other devices, such as the 2022 Sony TV we just bought.

"My partner has significant hearing loss…"

My partner has significant hearing loss and decided to invest in these aids. However after 3 days of the thrive app constantly cutting out we have discovered that although we have recent android phones both Motorola and Samsung they are NOT compatible with this app!! He was not given this information by the Audiologist as we would not have purchased (£3000) and are now seeking a full refund for which Scrivens have agreed as we have had them less than 1 month. We are very disappointed as it has taken courage and acceptance for my partner to take this road to better hearing.
The Customer service has been appalling and we will now research for other hearing aids. We feel that Starkey should advise or instruct companies who are promoting these aids to suitable compatibility of android phones.

molded. To custom make fit in ear . I don’t know part number
And now with new software upgrade
You can answer and hung up. By taping the small bar in hearing aid. Amazing These things have changed my life

Have BTH model for a year and do not fit properly. Also makes me dizzy to wear them for a long time. Thus wearing them less and less.
