"I love Starkey"

I love Starkey! They have both great customer service and products. Our previous set was with True Hearing and they were sub-par at best. My mother-in-law hears so much better with her Starkey hearing aids, it really helps with our conversations. Thank you Starkey!

"My teenager loves her Starkey hearing aid"

My daughter was fit with an IIC for her severe hearing loss in her right ear. She was previously wearing a BTE, since she was 4yrs old, but once she started middle school, she did not want her hearing aid to be seen. She went 2 years with minimal use. It was stressful for me because I knew she was missing a lot. She was fit with her new, tiny, Starkey hearing aid and now she never leaves home without it! It's a testament to the great sound quality and small size of the hearing aid that a 14 year old not only doesn't have to be reminded to put her aid in, but actually wants to wear it!

"Still trying to get the most out of my hearing aids."

I've had my rechargeable hearing aids for 3 years and have had issues with needing them to be replaced or repaired a few times because the device wasn't holding a charge for a whole day. The last time I had one repaired, it was returned with different settings, especially the tinnitus setting, which doesn't help the tinnitus at all. I returned to the audiologist to adjust it, but it didn't help. It may be my fault that I'm just missing something about the technology but I still have issues with my hearing and adjusting the hearing aids. They're not user friendly to me. I need help learning how I can get the most out of these hearing aids and plan to contact customer service to help me. Hopefully it's just me and I need help adjusting the devices.

"Great experience with my Starkey hearing aids"

I recently got Starkey hearing aids for the first time and I am so thankful I did! I love being able to watch TV with my wife again...I used to have the volume all the way up, and now I can hear at a normal volume. Streaming phone calls to my hearing aids has also been a huge perk. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day. I would definitely recommend these hearing aids!

"A VERY POOR EXPERIENCE!"

I have had a Starkey Hearing Aid for some time which I acquired through IHear in Queensland. Ever since acquiring the device there has been enormous drama in connecting the hearing aid to my mobile (Android operated) handset. After at least 2 years, the problem continues (including the aid only charging to 65%). I wrote to Starkey and got NO response but I did get a response from IHear stating that the hearing aid is mostly compatible with an Apple iPhone! Android operated devices are just as plentiful as Apple. Neither company wants to know about me and I am back to the hearing problem I encountered in the first place. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THE STARKEY PRODUCT AND THEIR OUTLET IHEAR as the customer service experience is non existant!

"Really disappointed with these hearing…"

Really disappointed with these hearing aids, I was very strongly advised by the audiologist that I would vastly prefer private aids over NHS. What a mistake, the NHS ones are much preferable. A very expensive mistake. The Starkey aids also turn themselves off if I fall asleep, rubbish if you are waiting for the door bell to ring.

"Don’t purchase"

I am very disappointed in this Starkey. I have been needing to ship my Starkey Livio hearing aid in for repair a dozen times since purchasing it. The hearing aid would constantly turn off or turn down throughout the day with no specific trigger. Since I’ve had so many issues, I asked if I could get a different style, but they advised me the answer 'no'. I am a heavy user and I don’t have a reliable hearing aid to live my daily routine and job. Now I have to find a grant/funding because I can't afford another $3000 hearing aid because Starkey refuses to provide necessary customer service, again I have never been this disappointed in a company like Starkey and will not plan to purchase from them again and advised that no one else does either.
