"worst hearing aids ever.... Do Not Buy"

I have not even had these for 2 yrs and so far they have had to be replaced 3 times, and have been service 4 separate times... my provider charges me $40 for each update/ repair. (It seams to be every 3 to 4 mos i need it serviced or another update).. most of the time I can only hear out of one ear. I have to turn off my phone 2 to 3xs a day to reconnect my hearing aids. I am currently having another issue... these are by far the worst hearing aids I have owned... people do not buy these.. go somewhere else...

"Starkey app"

Starkey Evolv AL 2400 from independant professional.
Loved the hearing quality & adjustability with the app.
Then wnet on bird watching holiday in South Africa when fine-tuning for hearing birdsong would be most useful - and behold - no internet, NO APP!!!
I can understand synching with cloud is useful, but to have the app functional on this condition renders it useless when most needed!!
Then synch when connection is available.

"Android & Thrive do not perform well"

Just tell people that the Thrive app does not work well with Samsung phones. Apparently, you need an iphone for the features to work properly. I find this out after I pay $1300. for a new phone. Should have stayed with iphone!

"So unreliable."

This app is great when it works but shitfull when it doesn’t. All over the shop. So unpredictable. Definitely needs to improve connectivity.

"With the updated software I was hopeful…"

With the updated software I was hopeful it would work. Sadly, not the case. It loses contact with one aid frequently and both very often. In both instances it cannot reconnect. When using satnav it streamed into the ear - great but next time no sound in aid or external and only way to get sound was to uninstall Thrive app. Total waste.

"Awful Experience"

Bought two Starkey Livio Edge 2400 RIC hearing aids in November 2021. Left one stopped working in July 2022. Has now been back for repair 4 times and am still waiting for a satisfactory repair. The right one is now not pairing with the thrive app and keeps reverting to demo mode. Whish I had never spent £3.500 on a load of rubbish.

"Great feature filled hearing aids"

These are my fourth set of hearing aids, and by far the best yet. To be fair I have not used all of the features available, but I'm impressed by the flexibility of this product. The ability to discretely make changes and adjustments using my phone is simply amazing to me. Knowing that if I totally mess up the settings that my audiologist can make adjustments and corrections remotely gives me the confidence to experiment. Features like language translation just blows my mind (although I have not tried it yet).

The only reason for the four star rating is because I don't care for the sound when connected to the car phone. Otherwise I think these hearing aids are great.

"No assistance with representative on…"

No assistance with representative on the phone and he hung up because I was not satisfied with his answer. When you spend $5000 on hearing aids you expect some satisfaction. I was told that you could go to any Starkey office and have my problems taken care of. $100’s out of pocket later and they haven’t be fixed.

"No major problems"

No major problems. Had one battery replaced because it would die long before the other one. Quick and easy with no issues.
