"With my Starkey Evolve aids it is…CLARITY"

With my Starkey Evolve aids it is clarity in person to person conversations and cell phone use that is less than acceptable. My aids are 3.5 yrs old, my recent professional hearing test indicates only a small weakening since the present aids were purchased. I am now shopping for aids from other companies that may better my clarity issue.

I like the THRIVE app! It helps me see when my hearing aid is not blue toothed to my phone. Sometimes one or the other, not at the same time, will drop off.

Over all I do like my Starkey hearing aids.

I think the aids are fine. I think the app needs to be updated. Some features I can use. Some features I’ve tried but don’t work for me.

Having battery problems. Just sent one set back to factory.
On other set, Premature expiration of battery. Left battery of bi-cros system just failed.

I got the newest in the ear aid and it just isn’t good. Fit has never been right, although it has been redone numerous times. Why do you persist with a hard plastic unit rather than have a soft silicon cap. The seal would be better and the unit more comfortable for all day wear

"My password? Is this some kind of an advertising joke? The failure took place over several momnths, and is ongoing, not one day."

The devices improved my hearing immediately. But I was unable to adjust the volume or frequency band even though i was told it was possible. Later i found out there was software to permit these adjustments. When it was installed it improved everything. UNFORTUNATELY, it didn't last long. The software stopped working. I am now waiting to have it reinstalled. I need to get this software so I can do it myself. The wait is unreasonably long. The wait is unreasonably long. (This format is not sufficient to submit a good report)

"They squeal a lot"

They squeal a lot. Just getting next to something, like inside a car or next to a kitchen cabinet set off the squealing. It is uncomfortable just to reach up to take them out because of the squealing caused by my hand.

There needs to be a better filter to stop all the noise of knives and forks clanking on the plates, because all I hear at dinner is plates clanking, and my self chewing. I am effectively deaf at any dining situation.

Please make provisions for Android phones. An update by either Starkey or Samsung turns the bluetooth feature on when I answer the phone or make a call, unable to hear anything, until I physically look to see it's on, and have to turn off to be able to hear the person. Apparently options also aren't available for Android users according to audiologist.

I have a new set of Starkey hearing aids just about worthless. I'd heard so much about how good Starkey are . I have a set of greatest disappointment. Half the time I cannot hear. In the book does not tell me how to and just them .Right now unless something really happens I'll be returning them.
