"Extremely satisfied"
I was very worried after reading reviews on here but I had such a pleasant surprise! Augustine Demba turned up on time & looked at my car & he took it for a test drive, he then offered me the price id been quoted & the money was in the bank before he left. He was very nice, polite & helpful. I used Manheim through Auto Trader, the price I got was more than other companies had quoted! Be honest about the condition of your car & you'll probably get the price quoted like I did

"Manaheim Glasgow"
Manaheim Glasgow. Bunch of bandits. Putting back lease Volvo and they sent 2 guys up to Aberdeen. Spent 3 hours with cameras going over everything, and put forward rip-off charges, inc item never fitted. Volvo reduced though.

"Clive came to value my car"
Clive came to value my car. There was a bit more damage than I’d noticed but the initial valuation wasn’t reduced by much and I feel I got a fair price.

"I was naive"
I wish I had read the reviews on Trustpilot before using this company (thru' Autotrader) as I would then not have been so naïve as to use them.
You will not be paid what you were originally offered even if the evaluator finds no faults that you had not already declared.
I guess it's just the nature of the beast.
They are there to make as much money as they can, so make an offer that is reasonable, although still favourable to them, but will still reduce the offer by at least several hundred pounds on evaluation
As I said I was naive.
If you find such business practise acceptable then you will not be disappointed.

"Will knock you down whatever happens!!!"
I decided to use Manheim through autotrader to sell my 64 plate bmw 3 series. Everything was going well until after the inspection was complete. My inspector was fantastic, what a lovely bloke and could not have done more. In his report back to the office he stated my car was in stunning condition and would be Grade 1, meaning i would receive my 'promised' online valuation. However the office and the manager named 'Danielle' had very different ideas and decided to tell me and the inspector on the ground 'due to stone chips' my car would be Grade 2 and lose £950 on my valuation. so my promised £12,422 dropped for no other reason than the office staff finding reasons to reduce my valuation to £11,464. Despite my inspector taking multiple pictures clearly showing there were NO stone chips, they still reduced my offer. They were just looking for a reason to pay less. Complete and utter jokers. I had 3 small marks which at best would be described as lacquer damage, and that is being incredibly picky. It is a 9 year old vehicle in superb condition. These con artist are not to be trusted. My poor inspector was embarrassed and upset as the cowboys in the office completely undermine their agents in the field. Would not recommend these people at all.

"Terrible!!!"
Terrible! Do not sell to this company! They do haggle and knocked off alot of money for the smallest scratches. I was told, after an evaluation, the offer was same as online evaluation but just as my sale was about to go through, I was told there was a ‘typo’ and the offer was £1000 less that evaluation online! I cancelled with them and sold to another company for £1200 more than this company’s online evalution.

"Not sure if I have the right department…"
Not sure if I have the right department of Manheim so here it is. They are are the same company, so I am leaving a review here. My lease for my Renault Zoe as come to an end, and Renault used Manheim to pick up the car. I have had history with this company and every time without exception we end up with a massive issues. First issue was after the lock down. The car was left with us for about 4 months ( this was not their issue), what was their issue was they turned up, and I hadn't noticed because it had been stood for 4 months, the tyre was down slightly, it just needed a little air, they refused to pick it up, Renault had to get someone else. Next time they wouldn't pick it up because it only had 100 miles range left on the charge. A petrol or diesel can be picked up providing no red light on the gauge (discrimination against electric owners). This time we spoke to manheim and the confirmed that 90% charge was sufficient. On the day they arranged to pick it up the inspector sent a text to say it would need to be charged to 100%. I rung the inspector, who was rude, I wasn't happy with is text and pointed out that they had already confirmed 90% and why had he sent the text saying 100%. After a minute or so of exchanges, he said he would not pick up the car. So don't disagree with them or they will throw out there toys. Appalling service, rude and lack of common sense or courtesy. They don't have to offer good service a they are not held to account, by yhe companies that use them. Absolute disgraceful
