Really happy with the service from Manheim. Good communication, no issues. The valuer Paul was very friendly and experienced. Received payment within the hour.

"Cannot be trusted"

I had an offer to sell my car and appointment was made but cancelled by Mannheim on the day of the appointment and they rescheduled it to another day but cancelled again on the day of the appointment. I have been waiting cancelling all my other commitments and their appointment time is 8 AM 1 PM or 1PM to 6 PM. After the third cancellation they still wanted to reschedule the appointment but I told them I no longer require their service.

"3+ weeks and the car still hasn't been collected"

I accepted the offer, but have been waiting over 3 weeks for the vehicle to be collected. I ring the number found on the website and it just points me to an email address to email.

Still waiting for the collection.

I’ve read lots of bad comments here and almost cancelled the appointment. Happy I didn’t! They offered me considerably more than We buy any car, the person was polite and whole experience was great from start to finish. I had my car sold and money on my account within 1h. I thought I write here so people don’t get discouraged. Give them a go, definitely better than We Buy any car.

Please don't use these company to sell your car. They never accept their mistakes. Very poor service.

"AVOID - actively over valuing vehicles"

Received an offer through Autotrader, which I accepted within the 7 day offer period. On contacting Manheim to arrange assessment and collection I was told that the car was "high value" therefore they need to check the value. I was then informed that the offer was high and they would not be able to honour it. On speaking to a floor manager I was informed that Manheim's system is over valuing vehicles.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Update - as requested in response to this review I contacted Manheim only to be told they still could not give the offered price but I could have a managers email address. A managers apology isn't going to help.

AVOID - in my experience the negative reviews of this company are a true reflection.

Great job by Ian. Extremely straightforward way to sell a car. Ian arrived promptly, did his thing, and the money arrived in my account as he left. The final amount was very close to the internet offer, and the reason for the difference was fair.

Cannot believe how quick, efficient & professional this service is! From first enquiry Wednesday afternoon to agreeing a price Thursday morning after the inspection at my home address. I was also offered more than original quote! When does that happen! Danny arrived, was professional & polite, explaining how it works, very straight forward and all was done within an hour & money in bank within 10 minutes, amazing!
