"The Manheim Collection Scam"
Manheim came to collect my car after a 3 year lease was up. The car had been looked after exceptionally well by myself. Exceptionally well.
However, the guy who came to collect it inspected it for over an hour and decided to charge me £1500. This includes £600 for a tiny hole in driver’s carpet and £200 for a tiny scratch on the bonnet - evidently from wear and tear of driving.
It’s a complete farce and at worse, a scam. I have taken a ton of photos and intend to fight this all the way. Just beware of these sharks.

"Please collect the car!"
Initial good service and deal. Sadly the whole experience spoilt by still having my sold car stuck in my drive 7 days on, uncollected. Their 0330 number says the call is important to them then you are left hanging on, being charged, for ages despite being number 1 in the Q. I have given up this morning, shocking way to treat people.

"Great Service"
Sold my Mercedes SLK via Manheim, and have to say Adrian was very professional in looking round my car, after a very unsatisfactory visit to We Buy Any Car. I got virtually the price they quoted over the phone. Very easy process and £1,000 more than trade in value.

"It does what it says on the tin"
I came across this company through Auto Trader when I wanted to sell my car. Yusaf Ali, the young man that came to inspect the car, was really friendly, professional and helpful. He explained clearly how the process worked so I knew what was happening. Selling my car was made easy, the service worked exactly as advertised. I would recommend this service.

"Sell your car the easy way"
Came across this service via Autotrader and can honestly say I don’t think I would ever sell a car in any other way again! From the initial quote online to speaking with a member of the team to book an appointment for an appraisal of the car, everything was professional, knowledgeable and the whole process explained with accuracy. It’s so easy to do.
I care a lot for my cars during their ownership and look after them and felt this was worth every bit of their valuation. I was honest in my description of the car and this was reinforced by Daniel when he arrived to view the car. I was advised by the office team to ensure I had relevant docs and ID ready and that payment would be made that same day.
I found the whole process a pleasure and it is so refreshing knowing that the person turning up will be buying your car and is not just there to ‘tyre kick’ and dream about having something they clearly would never be able to afford.
When Daniel arrived the entire process was very slick. The checking of the info I provided, taking photos of the car and submitting all of this for verification. The agreement of sale was sent to me by email for signature, funds transferred into my bank and I even received a notification from the DVLA advising me of the sale of my car so the tax i had paid would now be refunded! All this in less than an hour and that included a test drive to ensure everything worked as it should and the whole selling process never cost me a penny which as anyone will know, selling a car will cost you at the very least the price of the advert and there’s no guarantee you’ll sell it!
Absolutely amazing service from the whole team at Manheim. I will not hesitate to use your services again if/when I have another car to sell and will recommend your services to anyone who asks me how best to sell their vehicle. 😀

"Bunch of crooks"
Do not go near them. They knock £2000 for even a scratch on the bonnet or a £ 90 minor electric fault off the price and then block you from posting add on Auto trader if you choose not to sell them. A bunch of crooks who are only interested in maximising their profit. If your car has an outstanding finace on it, be sure that they will only be intent on paying you that outstanding no matter how good the condition of the car is and regardless of its market value.

"It was all polite enough... BUT!"
It was all polite enough .. I described the vehicle honestly including a couple of scratches (the car is 10 years old) and was offered £6850 which was actually a great price. I mentioned the scratch and tiny dent to the boot on the later call and was assured that all was ok and they would send an inspector out which they did.. He did the tire kicking and test drive and then announced that we had a deal ... brilliant I said and then he mention the adjusted price was now £6,100 to acknowledge the couple of scratches.. oh and apparently the car was black so that was another problem..... Bye Bye I said... .... Manheim / Autotrader.. stop being bloody naughty... just be honest to start with and stop wasting peoples valuable time!!

"Great Service from Manheim !"
Great Service from Manheim !
Had a very knowledgeable and polite purchaser Ian Willsher come out to survey the car. I was honest on the online survey via the Autotrader link and ended up getting what I expected for my Merc SLK, actually a bit more which was great !
Will use again and they provide fair prices for a hassle free fast service. Thanks John

"Absolute SCAM!!"
Absolute SCAM!!! Tried to knock £1000 off the quote even though nothing wrong with the car, excellent condition…even the inspector said so. Just preying on the vulnerable. Better off taking to webuyanycar.com, Mayheim are totally chancing their arm. Disgraceful and such a waste of everyone’s time! AVOID!!!
