"Prep Kitchen is amazing"

Prep Kitchen is amazing, they make meal time so much easier I don’t have to worry about planning my meal, just choose from the great selection they offer and wait for it to be delivered to my door hassles free.

We've tried enough of these services to say to some degree that we're qualified to give an opinion. Prep Kitchen is far and away the best of them. Mostly, everything is supplied and looks as it should. We've had issues where DPD have clearly given it the full Ace Ventura: Pet Detective treatment, and the meals have looked shocking - but that's not the fault of Prep Kitchen.

The meals are the perfect size. The swaps to make them low-carb are interesting, and in the grand scheme of things they're hardly noticeable (whatever is used for pasta in the Lasagna for instance - is that swede?). On the whole, they have flavour - not just bland representations of the meals, actual flavour. Spice in places, balanced seasoning, fresh taste. That sets them apart.

Some meals though, they are a little 'meals on wheels' - and the textures aren't quite right. The menu is vast though, and you're never going to please all of the people all of the time. We've learned what we like and what we don't like, and choose accordingly.

I would also say that the service is on the pricier side of the meals replacement market, but to be fair to Prep Kitchen, they are the best - so I appreciate the fact that I'm getting what I pay for.

Quality has been really good, however the variety of what is on offer I would say is rather limited. I also don't feel like I'm getting enough vegetables per meal. The ease of whats on offer is great and you don't feel like you are eating 'a packet meal'.

Have tried multiple other companies but none as easy as PrepKitchen. Late night cooking for 1 no longer needed- home and eating a delicious meal within 5 minutes. I am really enjoying the variety and love that I can choose low carb! In one delivery two of the packages had opened- 1 email and they sent 2 extras the week after. Brilliant service and very tasty food

Prep Kitchen has been fantastic. The food tastes amazing, and the prices are reasonably priced in comparison to other competitors. With 2 kids, a busy job and training I don’t always have time to cook, so having fresh, high-protein meals ready within 3 minutes has been a game changer. No prep, no cooking, no washing, love it.

Portion sizes are generous (I do the build muscle, low carb option). This has helped me lose 4 stone and train for my first Marathon.

What would I change? Really clutching at straws… Maybe replacing the gel cooling blocks with water (I don’t like tipping gel down the sink).

"What's not to love about Prep Kitchen"

Absolutely love prep kitchen meals. Been have their meals since the start of Jan and initially thought I would only have the meals whilst I could use the discount codes, however 6 weeks in now and can't imagine not having the meals. The curries are incredible, portion sizes perfect and everything is so quick to cook

Great experience with this company, even following a small delivery hiccup which they sorted out within 24 hours. Five star customer service and equally rated food. I am enjoying not cooking every night of the week after a long day at work, freeing up time for family, life admin and a bit more time at the gym.
