"A Good Job"
I was impressed with the value and service. This is a nice, well run operation and I'll gladly return.

"Please STAY AWAY HUGE SCAM!"
Please STAY AWAY they are a huge scam! I got forced into buying “full coverage” even though I rent all the time and my credit card covers it, they still made me pay $200 to buy full coverage insurance. I returned the car exactly how I received it there was no damage. They send me pictures of some scratches you can’t even see and bill be $4000+ and proceed to tell me the “full coverage” insurance I bought from them is not valid because I didn’t have a police report! Why they hell would I have a police report if NOTHING happened. Now they are just harassing me to give them them my insurance information or give them my credit card info so they can charge my credit card! I bought FULL COVERAGE insurance from you for this very reason!! HUGE SCAM they are just trying to make money off credit card companies or your insurance! STAY AWAY!

"Would not recommend."
Would not recommend.
Upon arrival to JFK, we received a call from DRIVO explaining that the car we booked is not available, so we will have free upgrade. Okay, great.
We took a train to Federal Circle, then the shuttle to the rental place. Waited for about 30 min to discover that free upgrade is not FREE. On top of agreed rental fee there is mileage charge of $0.35/mile. The agent directly said that if we don't like it we can return to the terminal and rent a car from another company. After long and unpleasant arguments with agent we finally agreed that the mileage charge will only start after 200 miles per day usage. Luckily we didn't need to drive more then that. Now if we don't buy insurance we need a proof that our own insurance covers rental car. Insurance card is not good enough, we need to have the our insurance agreement's title page. It is already about 6:30-7pm. We desperately call our insurance, and thankfully they talk to the rental agent and confirm our coverage. Finally, after a long flight and a very unpleasant experience, we can drive a car booked about a month in advance, and not even the one we asked for.

"If I could give Zero stars I would."
If I could give Zero stars, I would. I booked this car through Alaska Airlines and I have written a formal letter of complaint to Alaska, asking for a complete refund.
1. The company is not located at JFK Airport or at Federal Circle, is is an off off airport location, VERY far from JFK.
2. I had to call the company (which was not open at 8am), after an overnight flight, and had to leave numerous messages to get a shuttle to come pick me up.
3. The Drivo attendant repeatedly tried to sell me very expensive extra insurance in a threatening manner, saying I would be 100% liable if anything whatsoever happened to the car. Kept harping on me over and over. He was from Uzbekistan, a great country to visit, but he had clearly been trained to hammer on prospective insurance buyers when they pick up the car. Shame on Drivo. I bought the least expensive plan out of FIVE plans he described.
4. Drivo gave me a car that had clearly been smoked in for a long long time. I didn't notice it at first because it was given to me with the windows open, and only after getting partway out Long Island did I discover the smell. By then it was too late, I was on my way to my Aunt's 99th birthday and would have missed it, had I elected to return the car for a different non smoking one (if there is such a thing!).
5. I turned in the car at 8:30am, several days later, again, no one on the premises. After taking the shuttle to the airport, and then the AirTrain to JFK, I checked in and then received an email from Drivo saying there was a nail in the tire, and that I was liable because their insurance doesn't cover the tires. They did not fix the tire but replaced it for $190, about twice as much as the cost of a good quality tire from Costco. In the end, I was charged over $600 for the rental FOR FOUR DAYS. The rental price was supposed to be $42.50 A DAY!
This is outrageous. Don't rent a car there.
Update:
The company finally refunded me $100 for the overpriced tire, and $46 for the smoke smell in the car.

"Never going back there again!!"
Their customer service is very rude. If you see the other reviews, they mention the same. They laugh and talk in their own language amongst themselves. I had a similar experience. My rep was rude as soon as i mentioned that i don’t want to take their insurance since i was going to use my own. The attitude that i got from him made me feel like he is doing a favor on me and i am renting this car for free. The car that i had booked was a RAV4 or similar. He handed me a Nissan kicks saying that thats also an SUV and that is the only one available. In what world is RAV4 a mid size SUV the same as Nissan kicks a sub compact SUV. The car was in such a bad condition. The only grace was that it didn’t break down on me. Next time if i am going to NY i will pay more and go elsewhere. Someone needs to show these people that customer service is as important as the product they provide. They for sure lost one customer in me and i am pretty sure the guy who provided me customer service does not car about it.

"BEWARE"
This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Picked up car the outside was filthy! It was NOT washed! The interior- glove compartment door when you opened it was only attached on one side. The center console wouldn't shut unless you slammed it down. The weather stripping on both sides of all the doors was coming off, there were numerous dents and scratches. This car was a piece of $hi+! We ended up bringing the car back a day early and they would NOT credit us! I will NEVER use them again!!!
Update:
We called and all they offered was 10% off a future rental! What a joke!!! As I stated before BEWARE!!!

"Bait and switch"
When I arrived at the dealership I was told my car wasn't available and I needed to upgrade to a "compact". They also required me to take their insurance. I would strongly warn against going with them or at least go in with the expectation of frustration.

"Exceptional Customer Service"
My job is 100% travel. I rent car on a weekly basis. My company recommends to use its preferred vendor. For weeks ago, due to a car shortage at the preferred vendor location, I decided to try your company. I didn’t have a clue what I was getting myself into.
I was very surprised and impressed by the exceptional customer service provided by Ameth, Sereena , and Kenon
They made me feel valued ,and appreciated.
