Absolutely horrendous service. Have persevered with this company for almost a year now. On a daily basis the internet cuts out and runs at speeds of less than 1MB per second on a wired connection. Have tried to cancel the contract to move to an alternative supplier which can guarantee me better speed and service, however toople has blocked this changeover request twice now due to an outstanding balance on my account (which I am now refusing to pay), which I find difficult to believe as I have paid by direct debit every month since it was installed! Beware and stay away from this god awful company,

Been with toople for over a year now never had any issues until recently, February I changed the direct debit dates from the 28th to the 10th, they said it was all set up and everything was fine they took the payments out up until April which I have proof off, I’ve phoned up a few times over different things the past few months and they have not once mentioned that I owed them money, so I had a email with a invoice the only one I have ever had which was for £24.99 why didn’t the lady on the phone mention I owe money, I phoned up payed the bill now had another email today saying I owe £183, like times arnt tough enough right now, uses told me the direct debit was set up so which I’ve assumed it was this is your fault why it’s not been paid and it really isn’t possible I owe that much, talking to customer service is like talking to a rock!! Rubbish!

I've been counting down the days til my contracts ended (I have two lines) and I could change providers. The problems?
1. Awful broadband - very slow and drops off a couple of times a day.
2. Useless billing dept - my business is incoming calls so I can't say the bills have ever been incorrect but, given that their web site is plastered with notices about fees for unpaid direct debits, my DD collection day has varied - with only three days notice each month - from the 17th to the 27th of the month. I brought this to their attention a couple of times but nothing changed. Once, when I called them to ask what day they'd be collecting payment, they couldn't even be bothered to respond. Even now I've asked over a week ago what date they'll be taking my final pro rata bill and they haven't bothered to reply.
3. I've never been able to get my wireless printer (a bog standard HP, so we're not talking anything niche) to register in my wireless network. When I want to print anything I have to shut down wifi and log in to the printer's own network. When I asked Toople tech support about this they had no answers.
In short, the broadband is at the lower end of functional, the billing dept is unpredictable and unhelpful and tech support of limited use. I'm switching the day after tomorrow and I can't wait. It might be a few pounds more expensive each month but at least everything might work. My advice would be to go elsewhere too.

I ordered BT broadband and VIP tv package. Got a very good deal plus £120 reward mastercard.
Received email telling me when I would receive my equipment for broadband no mention of tv package. Spoke to them and they said the order went through so there must be an issue with BT.
Spoke to BT they said the same about Toople. So to cut along story short I’m now with out any TV as my previous supplier has cut me off and they can’t find my rewards card.

I have been patient but not had internet for 6 days so far I have called every day at least once getting told each time it would be on by the end of the day I have kids that need to go online for their homework or for gaming this not happening caused much distress my mobile data bill gone so high would not recommend at all especially for almost 35 a month. Joke
