I was pleased with the condition of the plant I ordered when received. However, in comparison with the ship time I regularly experience with other online orders; receiving my plant seemed to take much longer.

I received the one plant that my cat loves to munch on and throw up some where. I have one of those already and I have to keep hiding it. i probably have the one cat that loves this plant! Not your problem however. The plant arrived in excellent condition.

My experience with their customer support was amazing. One of my plants froze, through no fault of the company. They offered to send me a new one or give me a credit. You can't ask for more that that!!

My "not so common" plant was just a regular plant that I could get at any home garden store and was overpriced five times over! Plus it arrived an exploded soil bomb and the plant was clearly in distress/on its way to dying. Nice gift thought, but just give a Home Depot gift card.

I had been looking at Lively Root on line for a while and decided to order a plant for my son’s girlfriend for her birthday. Her bday was 12/12. I ordered the plant on 12/4 to be delivered by 12/13, according to their website ordering form. Her birthday came and went and the UPS tracking form showed it had not even been received by Lively root. I reached out to them by email. They returned the email after a couple days that they would check in to it. A week later, no plant, I had to reach out again. Same time to respond, same response. She is a college student so she eventually left to come home for the holidays. The plant was delivered while she was away, 2 weeks late. So now, there is no telling what kind of condition it will be in when she finally does open the package a week from now. Huge waste of time and money, and a bit embarrassing considering it was a gift she should have received almost a month ago. Would not recommend!

I have used them a few times and it was good. I recently purchased a higher priced item and when I reached out for help, I did get answered quickly but I accidently sent a picture of the wrong box and everything stopped completely. Even after I noticed what I did I tried to reach out again but they still kind of blew me off. I never got any help for my sick plant and now i have a $130 cutting I hope I can propagate.

My order was a gift that I had accidently sent to my address rather than the shipping address. I immediately emailed and messaged that there was a mistake and needed to change my address before the package went out. Outside of the fact that no on works on the weekend, and you can never get a gold of a person, the communication is either passive aggressive bs or nonexistent. I highly recommend saving yourself the money and time, and redirecting your attention elsewhere. I'm sure pretty much anywhere else is better.
