"Do Not Use This Company Unless You Enjoy Long Term Gas Lighting Relationships"

Cancelled my service 3 months ago and I am still being sent bills. The house was sold in October and even in March we had bills coming in. When you call you have to wait on hold for no less than an hour.

You have to mail a cancellation piece of paper to them like its 1996, no other way to cancel. Even then they don't put your cancellation notice into their system.

If you email them, you will get zero response, if you cancel you will get zero response (unless you count a bill).

No idea how or when I will ever be able to cancel this service. Do I need to hire an attorney to get my service cancelled? This is absurd.

"I’m really disappointed in the service…"

I’m really disappointed in the service this is my first time going with this company and it have been the worse I called to get help in connecting the system to my phone. Still no call back. I was scheduled for a install on Monday they didn’t come until Tuesday after my 3 years are up I’m done. Customer service is terrible.

"Shout out customer service rep MaRia Wyatt"

I want to shout out MaRia Wyatt, our customer service rep. She was the ONLY person within the past few weeks who really went above and beyond to help us out. We moved to an area where Ackerman doesn't service, and we were told we had to go with ADT instead of being able just to cancel our account. When we started with with Ackerman, they weren't partnered with ADT so we were told we would be able to just cancel..etc. Long story short, MaRia listened to our concerns, took notes, and went the extra mile to help us remedy the situation as best she could.

She helped us as a customer. Many times with these companies it feels like they don't care much about us, but she did.

Ackerman should give her a raise! Because she was a breath of fresh air!

It would have been helpful if the tech would have gave a little demonstration on some of the features. Such as how to adjust the volume on the monitor and how to work the camera feature.

Showed up at 8:50am for an 8am appointment but the team was very nice and seemed to be very knowledgable. They got straight to work and notified me when they were done. They still need to come back and install a door camera that they didn't bring. 4 stars.
