"When Tim Boyle showed up promptly when…"
When Tim Boyle showed up promptly when they said they would he was very professional and very knowledgable of how to proceed with my problem. This is the only time I have received guaranteed service with a warranty if the same situation happens again they will come once to correct for free!!! What a company.
Will use this company for the rest of my days for any plumbing issues. Thanks Tim!!

"Bad experience at Mr Rooter"
Bad experience at Mr Rooter. Rude customer service. Poor communication skills. Not professional. Never ever ask business with you. Root Rooter is 200% better and professional than Mr Rooter!

"Mr. Rooter report"
We hired Mr. Rooter to help us with some broken pipes. There team was prompt and professional. Marcus, Alex, and Joe were able to fix our problems and get the water running quickly! I would refer them to anyone. The. Wozniaks

"DO NOT USE THIS CROOKED COMPANY"
Do not use these people. They caused THOUSANDS in damage, admitted it and won't fix it!!!!!
No idea how they have so many good reviews on google. And I rarely leave bad reviews. It takes A LOT. And to the company - don't reply to this asking me to contact you. We've tried. So many times since this began. You have our contact info if you want to make this right.
Their inexperienced (lazy?) technicians will leave a job unfinished, causing more damage (in our case mud sucked into every plumbing fixture in our home) and then hand you a bill to repair what they broke. I could write you a novel about the first unprofessional tech who was in a hurry to get to a more lucrative job. Their second tech who needs anger management classes and their rude office staff.
Here's the kicker - the third tech they sent out was amazing. (Shout out to Clinton who was decent and efficient) He repaired some of the issues at no cost because they knew it was their fault. Left a quote for the ruined fixtures that couldn't be fixed with bleeding the lines. And then the office, after doing that part for $0, told us they won't fix the rest. So only the mud in the repairable fixtures was your fault? The ruined ones are ours? HOW? Their quote, without the new fixtures that have to be bought, is thousands. THOUSANDS. For something they broke.
Also their first tech said he tried to finish the job and come in to bleed the lines and we declined but wrote on his invoice that, after his repair failed two times prior, it needed to cure overnight and he couldn't check the water pressure. How are you offering to bleed lines when the water is off? Then he stated we tried to finish the repair before he arrived back at a scheduled appt the next day to fix it. We have in text where he's telling us how to finish the repair and asking if he needs to come back!! There was no scheduled appt. Or any plans for him to return. Because when we called the office to complain the tech called us back mad we called the office and saying he said he would come back. And the second tech screamed at me and said I screamed at him. My husband pointed at the camera on our front porch and said my wife didn't scream at you. He backed down so fast. And got super conciliatory.
They say their work is guaranteed but when their techs mess up they won't fix it!!' These people are dishonest. 2/3 techs we got sent out were sub par and, as a female, not people I would ever want in my home while I was alone. Management is laughable. Avoid these people. I cannot say it enough. I'm sure some of that they do is fine. But when a problem occurs that they caused they won't make you whole. Don't be stuck with thousands in repairs like we are!!!!

"Our service agent "Tom" was fantastic"
Our service agent "Tom" was fantastic. He was on time and very professional. I have used them 3 times now and I am pleased. Shower handle broke but Tom had us back on track shortly after arrival. In fact, during another visit, he was able to fix my water heater when no one else could.

"Repeat Customer. Satisfied with the Work & Recommend."
We called Mr. Rooter twice now. The 1st time was in 2021 when the hot water heater suddenly stopped working and needed to be replaced. The 2d time was this week (the long Labor Day weekend, 2023) when we had a leak in the basement. Each time, Rich was the technician who fixed the problem. Rich is very careful, thorough, and reliable. We are pleased with the work that Rich did in replacing the water heater and fixing the leak. Based on our experience with Rich, we recommend Mr. Rooter - as long as you get Rich as your technician. We don’t know if the others are as experienced.

"TERRIBLE SERVICE. do not use!!!!!"
TERRIBLE SERVICE.
came to unclog 2 toilets. couldnt do the job for one of them and then quoted me $455 to fix it.
fixed one toilet for $245 + tax = $261. I told him when he left that it wasnt flushing properly still.
he said it will get stronger. it has gotten worse and now 10 days later its broken again. they wont warranty it. he was nasty on the phone with me. told me that i have to pay another $261 to fix it again. i told him no thanks. will be disputing the charge on my credit card and finding another provider.

"I was not pleased with the way I was…"
I was not pleased with the way I was talked to. I spent a few thousand dollars within a few days and was treated like crap when I disputed some charges. Get a second and a third estimate is the lesson I learned. I asked to be removed from any advertisements or emails from this company. They will no longer get any future business from me. I am disappointed that this is a woman-owned company, and they treat women like this. Just like people, companies reap what they sow.

"The tech broke my toilet with the…"
The tech broke my toilet with the snake, then wanted $500 for a new one, stating it's normally $1300. In what world is a toilet $1300? I bought a new one for $159 from H. Depot and installed it ourselves. Also was charged additional $100 because there were some bushes in the way of the trap. It cost me over $900 to snake a drain line. Last time, I used Roto-Rooter and it was $622 with no broken toilet. Your company can and should do better. I was also charged a 3% transaction fee for using a credit card, which is actually a violation of NYS law.
