"Waste of time"

Had on online appointment with a doctor - was prescribed some pain meds as had injured my back - doctor said prescription would come through immediately. A day later and still no prescription - was told it was stuck in the system and needed to be released - long story short - 3 phone calls later I was told that I needed to book another appointment as the prescription could not be released in the system. Useless. And the person in the patient "excellence" team hung up on me when I asked to speak to her manager on being told this.

Dr. Gami actually listened to me- took the time to consider the bigger picture, offered a plan after discussing with me and understanding what I felt comfortable with, and then ensured follow-up. She is phenomenal. She gave sound advice to ensure timely medical care. I have been dismissed in the past and now brace for interactions with the medical system. Dr. Gami restored my faith a bit that there are still great doctors out there despite the challenges.

Thankfully my pharmacist recognised the interaction and wouldn’t prescribe. It can lead to death taking the two together …

Called the customer care and was advised to have a new prescription I had to make another appointment which is another charge.

Made a complaint via the complaints progress a week ago and been ignored.

Past experiences had been good but this has made me question are these doctors adequate to be prescribing medication.
