Great experience. Some obvious but understandable restrictions but they helped me with my issue. Sent me a prescription to be used at my favourite Pharmacy. All done in 3 hours. Had an appointment 1.5 hours after logging in.

This was the first and only time that I have used the service that comes with my AXA health insurance via my job. It was easy to book a video appointment with a choice of doctors and times. The outcome was for me to be referred to a private hospital to see a specialist which I am scheduled to attend tomorrow. Up to that point in the procedure it will have taken 5 days. If that had been my local GP I wouldn't of had the first appointment yet, so very pleased

All GP’s I’ve been seen by are really friendly and knowledgable. Using Doctor Care Anywhere has helped me get appointments on the same day and also days after and to be in the comfort of my own home is nice so appointments feel relaxed. You also get all the notes (such as referrals, fit notes and appointment notes)in which the GP has made which I wouldn’t usually get or ask for at a general GP. Appointments for me personally have never been very long up to 15 minutes maximum however each one has been through and throughout the whole process they always let you talk and explain before trying to tell you what you have got or what is wrong with you. They also always ask if there’s any other questions or queries before the appointment ends however I usually don’t have any due to them all being very clear and covering all points. You can also choose who you have an appointment with at what time and with which preferred gender, I understand you can do this with a normal GP however due to the many options in which Doctor Care Anywhere provides I personally think is better.
However this service is not for emergencies and sometimes if you would prefer to go to a doctor in person for whatever reason this is understandable and it would then be better to go to a general practice.
They also refer you to specialists on the same day which is great as it means you are able to see people quicker without the waiting time.
I understand this is a private healthcare system and is expensive for the general person however if you are able to use through health insurance with either work or a family plan it is great and I highly recommend.
