"The worst customer service I ever experienced"

Today is 9th of May and I finally received my bike back. It was over 2,5 month of waiting and a lot of stress. Really hope that the company will address their customer services issues. On a plus side, havebike fixed my bike and didn't charge me for my new wheels.
I'm upgrading my review from one star to 3 starts.
I've booked my 'deluxe' service on 20th of February with promise to return my bike on 24th of February. Today is 10th of April and I'm still trying to get my bike back.
Everything started great, my bike was collect on time and it was very convenient. In couple of days I got a call telling me that my bike requires quite a few replacements including wheels. I was a bit surprised because my bike is not too old (3 years with not very consistent usage), but it is ok - safety first, so I agreed to replace everything. They told me that they don't have appropriate wheels for my bike just now, and they will try to get them from their supplier. Now almost 2 month has passed, and they still trying to get wheels from supplier..
It is probably ok sometimes to have a delay if you can't find spare parts, but the way havebike handle it was just unacceptable. The customer service is just horrible! I sent multiple emails to havebike, but got nothing in reply. I called them tens of times, they promised to call me back, but NEVER did. I've payed £160+ and lost my bike for nearly 2 month now.. Right now I just want to get my bike back and go to another shop for repair.
I believe you might be lucky, and you will get a good service from them. However, if something goes wrong, you may get into my situation and get into infinite waiting loop.. Would never recommend havebike service to anyone..

Would recommend to anyone looking to get their bike serviced quickly and efficiently. The bike was collected and from that point onwards I was kept up to date with what was needed and then delivered with care back to me. Couldn’t fault the service at all.

I had my bike sitting in my room for over two years from when I got it second hand. I recently decided to get it fixed up and start cycling again. I came across have bike online and the service from start to finish was brilliant. I chose the cheapest service because I just wanted to get the bike running to build up my fitness. I was expecting the bike would need huge amounts of extra stuff done to it but I was pleasantly surprised that it was only just over £150 extra. Very happy with the service and theologos who dropped the bike back was a gentleman and very professional. He made sure it was up to my standards before he left. Great service. Would recommend to anyone.

12/04 UPDATE:
After a month, my bike has finally been returned! I finally got through to Nick (sp.) from havebike who informed me that, as suspected, the call centre the company uses had not for whatever reason been forwarding calls or messages to the team and other communications channels were not being used due to technical and human error.
I must praise Nick for turning the situation around in a few days with the installation of a different part and a promised 30% discount (pending). He was eager to discuss the customer service shortcomings I'd experienced and hopefully improvements can be made for the other customers that are waiting for work to be completed.
INITIAL REVIEW:
Bike has been in for nearly a month with virtually no updates or communication. Incredibly poor service which is all the more disappointing with the amount of money already charged. Apparently "incorrect paperwork" delayed the bike a week before it was even looked at which resulted in the only call I have received, just to approve more charges for further work.
Since then it has been total radio silence from calls, social media and the "direct message" system. I've tried calling many times over the last 4 weeks but the number provided is clearly directed to a floating call centre where the "person suited to the situation" is never available. Call backs are promised but never carried out adding to the frustration.
If work is delayed due to parts etc. that would be fine as long as you actually tell the customer that is the case. Instead, I don't even know what the issue is or if my bike's even been looked at!

"Polite behaviour towards cyclists"
Yesterday we were cycling in Maida Vale. One of the streets was really busy and it was also blocked with many drivers that didn’t respect the cyclists that were cycling on the same street. Suddenly we saw a van. The driver greeted us and made some space so we can pass with safety and not have to wait due to traffic.
We saw that the van belongs to a company that is offering bike servicing and it had its name on it: havebike service and repairs.We would like to thank the driver for being kind to us. We will use the company’s services soon as it seems that it really respects the cyclists!!

My whole experience with them has been flabbergasting.
3 major things that have appalled me:
1. They charged me for more expensive tyres but put cheap ones on my Bianchi road bike
2. The driver delivered an old fold up bike to my house instead of my prized road bike. My son was in and at first he didn’t realise. He had to chase the driver down the road and when asking him if he had been given the correct bike the driver realised his mistake.
3. They say they’re going to deliver on a certain date but then make excuses and you have to rearrange the date. Then there’s very little communication about when on that day it’s going to be delivered. I got an email half way through the day even though I was told I would get a confirmation email the night before. The driver does phone when he is half an hour away which is good but not knowing is stressful.
My bike does look good with new parts and a service totalling nearly £300 and I am looking forward to riding it today but am now scared that it won’t work properly with the cheap parts they’ve put on.
I’ve rung customer service today and asked for a refund on the overcharge for the tyres. I am also due a £10 refund that they said they’d give me due to the delayed return of my bike but I’ve not received this yet.
This whole concept of someone collecting your bike, fixing it and returning it seemed like a great one but it doesn’t work when the wrong parts have been put on your bike and you never really know when your bike will come back or if it’ll be the same bike that they took away!

"Service badly organised - great and kind driver at delivery"
Service badly organised, I had to call many times until they delivered back my bike. They never called me as they had promised to discuss the repair, and didn’t deliver on the day they were supposed to deliver. The repair was though done properly and the driver was super super kind and provided a great service calling me 30 min before arriving and having the patience to wait downstairs, also asking me if I wanted to try the bike to make sure it was all ok while he waited. Super super nice. Thank you Theoologos!!

Great service! SO convenient. Booked easily via the App & a van appeared to whisk the bike off. Returned with many new parts and now runs like a dream. Comms was fine & updated at every stage. V professional, hassle free job. Will definitely use again.
