They would not work on a converted Ebike even though I told them it was a converted ebike a few days before collection someone called me about this and said I will have a refund of £59.00 as I did pay for the delux service.But after several calls and emails no one has replied back and am still waiting for my refund.

What a fantastic idea and backed up by a truly quality service. A different driver picked up and then returned my bike and both were extremely smart, professional and friendly. They were very helpful and informative about what would happen with my bike, the office staff were helpful and advised me about the best way forward and now my bike runs like a dream. Will use them again and I highly recommend their services to others. Thank you havebike..!!

"return time unpredictable, several scratches"
The idea is amazing and the reason why you want to use this service is the home collection/return service but unfortunately they don't assign a narrow time slot and its pretty unpredictable to tell when they will return your bike. My bike was supposed to be delivered before 6PM, the driver phoned 5.45PM after I was waiting all day and informed he could be able to return the bike around 7.50PM. This way is not anymore convenient to use the service because you may feel imprisoned waiting for your bike all day. My bike also unfortunately came back full of scratches I am writing now to the customer service and I will update the review with what happens.

"Poor quality, expensive, shocking customer service"
Very poor experience. Customer service non-existent - given five different return dates, none met until the last one. Each time I phoned for an update they just gave me a new date, then when that date came and went I had to chase and they gave me another date which was not met either. Quality of work very poor, new brakes fitted but they are worse than the old ones, crank fell off on second ride after service. DO NOT USE, these guys are woeful, will never use again nor recommend to friends. Will now have to take bike to LBS to get fixed - waste of money

"Not a great experience"
Not a great experience. Had a deluxe service but gears werent right so went in for a 2nd time. Gears still misbehaving after return and am still waiting for a reply to fix this.

"Poor quality of service"
Booked super deluxe service which payment was taken way before delivery. Afterwards I was contacted that no one was in shop to actually conduct the service. I accepted the 2nd collection point, which I should have got back 2 days afterwards. I was then told between this day that I won’t be getting the bike back for another 7 days. They said that they don’t conduct work on the bike until the day before the date which is specified for return by the customer so if any work is required, there is no chance of getting back on specified date. Why even offer the option of requesting a specified date if this won’t be honoured. Now on the day which they’ve told me i’d be getting it back, and no sign of bike.

HaveBike were very quick to clarify the issue addressed above, they very generously offered goodwill in returned. I ended receiving the bike today, there were a few notes that were not actioned on the service, and a confusion on something else. I sent a message which Carl very quickly called me about. Personally they were small issues which doesn't impact the performance of the bike but would have been nice to have been acknowledge. Carl was very apologetic and did offer resolutions but given that they're small it didn't warrant such a fuss over. Looking at all the reviews below, I think my experience may just have been an anomaly. I'm a big advocate of supporting local business, although the experience this time wasn't the best, due to the sincerity shown today by Carl, I will give them benefit of the doubt and probably give them another go.
UPDATE 2
Bike came back in worse condition than when it was sent off. I put the bike on the turbo trainer and noted straight away the gears weren’t shifting properly. I was told the bike is quality checked and tested after the service, which is hard to believe as they would have picked up the issue if that was the case. I called customer service who tried to pass off the issue had occurred on route in the van, which isn’t very believable but if that was the case then my bike wasn’t looked after with care. Bike was sent back for further correction due to their oversight. Overall poor experience from start to finish, considering this is their premium service, quality of value is very poor. Personally will not use again.

"No axe to grind factual review........"
I needed my old bike serviced ASAP & my local Halfords had closed down! I some how came across havebike when googling! I booked the Super Deluxe service.
My Bike was collected on 9 February 2 by Theo really nice friendly guy and was delivered back to me on 8 March 2 by James (another really nice guy).
Unfortunately, the customer service in between initially collecting my bike and delivering it back to me was not great - hardly any updates on what was happening with my bike despite them having it for almost on a Month! And me emailing and calling them constantly.....for that reason I withold 1 start.
I give them 4 start because I have to admit my Bike has been delivered back to me in tip top pristine condition almost as new with a free bike cleaning kit too (thank you :-) ) I have just been out for a ride on it and it moves beautifully!
All in all a bit pricey, dodgy customer service, apart from the guys doing the collection/delivery and lady named Abbey who was really helpfull initially and a guy called Marcos???
On reflecin I would probably use the servce again - just hope they improve customer contact/service!
