I ordered a cake on 30th sept for delivery date 1st oct .They took 275 extra charges for delivery location is far br till end of the date they didn't delivered the cake .the support lady whom I called was too rude. They cut the phone without resolving the customer problem.pathetic support.

They took charges but still didn't delivered the cake ..we didn't get the cake and also lost around 700 rupees

This company is just a fraudulent company just to loot public money, I ordered a cake to a village in Andhra Pradesh on September 5th and they took the order and recieved my money which I paid, I was in the happy mood thinking of surprising my loved ones, and to my surprise they did not delivered the cake, I had sent the mails inquiring about cake delivery status, they mailed back saying they will check and revert, but they never mailed back saying the order can't be delivered, next morning I have mailed them again but no response, so I called the customer care then that lady had lied that they already sent the mail, but I received it after i had a call with her, such a fraud, and then as I felt they are fraudulent, I have asked my money back, as of felt there is no use of ordering from them but then in spite of call with the costumer care nothing happened, the lady was not at all customer friendly, she hung-up the phone while I was talking, and then when I called for many times she was lifting the call but not answering, i could hear the back ground noise but she was not talking, such an indecent behaviour, they looted my money and insulting me, she repeated this for multiple times, then I gave up and thought of using the discount coupon on another day, yesterday September 30th I have called them for the same, they said that the different location which I wanted to deliver the cake, Also not possible for them to deliver, then I asked to return my money back, she said she cant help it any way and I cant get my money back, i tried to talk to her, again she hung up the phone, and repeated the same rude behaviour by lifting the phone multiple times and not answering, ln the last try a guy lifted the call and asked me to pay the money extra for delivery in ordered to deliver the cake, I did not feel right as they even loot that amount too, so I asked to return my money, but he was rude too. I had never had such a bad and worst experience, causing me mental trauma. NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM THEY WILL EAT YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU ANXIETY AND PAIN.

MY QUESTION IS: IF THEY CAN'T DELIVER TO A PARTICULAR LOCATION WHY DID THEY TAKE THE ORDER IN THE FIRST PLACE AND TAKE THE MONEY FROM THE CUSTOMER? WHAT KIND OF PRACTICE IS THIS?

"I had a very bad experience ordering…"

I had a very bad experience ordering from India Cakes. First of all, after placing the order, I was asked to pay Rs 275 extra and the reason given was 'the delivery place is far from the centre'. When I paid the money, I did not get any response. Worried that I will lose the cake as well as the Rs 694 already spent, I paid the money and then thought that the cake will come in the evening. It was almost night but the cake did not come. I called customer care and was told that your place is far from the centre so it will not come. When I asked for a refund, the call was disconnected. I am very disappointed. I don't think I will get any kind of refund but I hope this review reaches many people and they will not get cheated like I did.

Terrible experience ordering from India Cakes. First of all, I was asked to pay 275 rupees extra after I placed the order and the reason given was 'delivery place is far from center'. When I mailed them asking for a cancellation, I received zero response. Worrying that I would lose the cake as well as the money I had already spent, I decided to pay the 275 rupees. Later i fought with them and got a discount coupon since they didnt deliver cake to my place saying , its still too far.
Their website dont even say that which places they deliver correctly. The lady i spoke was so rude that she hung phone on me. Such a bad customer care and such bad people.

I later used disocunt code and ordered cake for 02-Oct-2024 and they delivered it on 25-Sep-2024 and all my surprise was gone. And again when i called the same lady spoke very rude.
I request all, pease do not go to this website, thye are not good . very poor customer service and very ride .Please do not buy from here .

Terrible experience ordering from India Cakes. First of all, I was asked to pay 250 rupees extra after I placed the order and the reason given was 'delivery place is far from center'. When I mailed them asking for a cancellation, I received zero response. Worrying that I would lose the cake as well as the money I had already spent, I decided to pay the 250 rupees. Later on, I got a call from a person from a local bakery saying that bento cakes are not available in my city and therefore I would have to choose another cake. I was extremely disappointed by this time but I still had hopes of a decent substitute cake being delivered but what I received left me in shock. The cake that finally got delivered was extremely small. The cake I had ordered was 0.5kg.
I am so very disappointed. I don't think I will get any sort of refund but I hope this review reaches many people and they don't get cheated the way I did.

Never ever go for Indiacakes .worst experience ever .had ordered for cake with flowers on 9th September to be delivered on 11th sep.the order amount was 855 Rs and additional amount of Rs 275 was made as the reason mentioned was remote location .After reaching out customer care service it was said to be delivered between 5 to 6 pm.when called after they informed within 20mins the order will be getting delivered .Now its past 9pm , no response to customer care number and not yet delivered.I am re submitting my review as there was a reply from India Cakes that the cake got delivered which is not true . After repeated calls to customer care ,the reply is " we will check and get back to you in 15mins " and then disconnects the call . Not even a word of apologies .India Cakes spoiled a kid's birthday. I need an answer for this or else definitely going to file a complaint against Indiacakes through department of consumer affairs. Atleast in future, people wont get in trouble trusting India Cakes . It is not about the money we spent on that , it is the expectation of a kid who was expecting a cake on her birthday .
