It would make no difference, if they didn't have "customer support" at all. A total disgrace to the industry of menswear.

They refuse to make any changes to online orders once placed. Right after placing my order, I wanted to simply change from one style pant to another, both of the same value. I was told they couldn't make any changes, so I would have to either cancel the order entirely or refuse the package at the door. I didn't want to cancel the order because the other pair of pants in the order were now sold out. I asked if I could order the other style pant separately and then return the first pair. $8.00 return shipping charge. I then asked if I could just return them at a local store. They don't accept online returns in store (in Canada, anyway). I love the clothes, but their customer service is an absolute joke.

"Online purchase - returns"

I have recently ordered an item online which has been delivered for free, however, I had to return the item and got charged £7.50! It would have been free if returned to an official S&S store which is nowhere near (and I live in a big City).
Therefore, never again..

"Achterhaald retourbeleid"

Kleding niks op aan te merken, maar dat er in deze tijd nog €6,95 retourkosten verbonden zijn aan het terugsturen van je online aankoop is echt achterhaald. Mocht je in de buurt wonen van een winkel is het nog leuk om hier online aankopen te doen, maar anders kan je beter naar een webshop gaan die de kleding verkoopt en waar je WEL gratis kunt terugsturen.

Should have minus star option here. The worst company ever for such a money they stealing from customers! Return policy is ridicules. And after they confirmed they recieved my items on 10th of Jan today is 23rd and I m still waiting for my money back. It s disgusting how this company treat customers.

Das ist öfters ein Glückspiel bei Scotch & Soda.

Manche Waren sind super und haltbar, aber anderseits bezahlt man 80€ für einen Pulli, der nach drei Monaten schon Löcher bekommt, da die Qualität wirklich mangelhaft ist.

Nie direkt bei Scotch & Soda bestellen, da man für Retouren selbst bezahlen muss! Besser bei Zalando oder Conleys.

Aber mal ehrlich zur Zeit suche ich einen anderen Anbieter mit höher Qualität.

"Avoid at all costs"

Avoid at all costs! I went in store and tried on a pair of trousers which were way to big. They didn’t have any smaller size there so they advised I look online. I ordered these trousers 2 sizes down and they were still too big. Then I realised that the only free return option was to drop it at one of their stores on the other side of the city. A UPS return would cost me 7 euros (that’s the agreement they have with UPS they said... UPS who by the way took 10 days to deliver these trousers). Anyway long story short, it’s costing me 7 euros to try on trousers that are really really badly sized!

"The poor customer service ruins the clothes."

Because I signed up to receive email promos, I was sent a 10% discount code. There was a problem with the code, so I was unable to use it. It was outside of business hours on a weekend, and because quantities of some of the items I wanted. were limited, I placed the order, assuming that, as is the case with other online retailers I do business with (Saks & Mr. Porter for example), they would honor the discount retroactively.

I sent an e-mail to customer service, included the coupon code, and explained the problem. I was told they were not going to honor it after the fact, and that I should have called them before placing the order.

They charged my card the very next day, days before shipping my order,
which should never be done, and when I called for an update, the guy I spoke with in the US,was rude and did not sound very competent. I was told that there was a disconnect between the online order system, and the warehouse, which caused the shipment of my order to be delayed. When I expressed concern that some of the items were of limited quantity,and as a result, the order should be expedited, I was told that the order would not be expedited.

So now I have two issues reflecting poor customer service, where the company fell short of my expectations. I sent an another e-mail, expressing my concerns, and letting them know that I intended to cancel the order, if the 10% coupon was not honored.

After not receiving a response, I then called customer service in Holland, and l unequivocally stated that I wanted the order cancelled, IF the 10% discount was not honored. I was told that, despite the fact that the order had not processed, they were unable to stop it from being packed up and shipped to me.

Today the order shipped, with one item no longer available, due to demand. My e-mails have not been acknowledged, and I am now in the position of needing to be home to reject that box when it arrives, if I want it sent back with no additional charge to myself.

Bottom line is, very poor customer service, these folks do nothing unless it involves them taking your money. Never again will I order from these jerks.

"Perfekte Mode"

Scotch & Soda ist meine One-And-Only-Marke für T-Shirts seit mehreren Jahren. Die Stoffe sind toll, passform ist meistens perfekt (wenn man zuvor in der Lage ist, die Bilder richtig einzuschätzen) und Farbechtheit ist wunderbar (die Farben halten lange, man sollte aber die ersten Male einzeln waschen, besonders die indigo-Sachen).

Die Preise sind, ja, teilweise etwas hoch. 40 Euro für ein T-Shirt wollen gut überlegt sein.


Nachtrag 2023: Für Retouren bekommt man inzwischen ein Retourenlabel, so dass der Rückversand nun auch kostenlos ist.

Ansonsten bin ich nach wie vor sehr zufrieden und habe auch immer noch nur Scotch & Soda-T-Shirts. Was anderes kommt mir nicht mehr ins Haus.
