"Nurx was fine for the first 6 months I…"
Nurx was fine for the first 6 months I used it until they decided to suddenly stop accepting my insurance with very short notice. Having to pay $30 initially and $3 every month wasn't worth it, I should've just gone to a doctor to get my prescription. Plus half of the time they were "out of stock" of my prescription so they sent me to a pharmacy to pick it up. Not a big deal however they still charged the $3 service fee even though they were providing me no service...

"What a Disappointing Experience"
What a Disappointing Experience
I have had a terrible experience over the past two months trying to access my medication. The process here is unnecessarily complicated, and the customer support is unhelpful. The doctor, Alexandra Stefans, AGPCNP-BC, appears to have no understanding of my medical history or how to manage my medications properly.
To make matters worse, there’s confusion about where my medication is being sent, and I’m constantly asked for documents that I don’t know how to obtain. This lack of clarity and support is incredibly frustrating and could have serious consequences for my health.
If anything happens to me, I will hold both this service and the doctor accountable. I sincerely hope they address these issues to prevent others from going through the same ordeal.

"Nurx was great for a few years. Now I'm suffering horrible withdrawal symptoms thanks to their slow and useless communication, and the worst "customer service" I have EVER experienced."
Nurx was great for a few years. It was a great and accessible way for me to receive birth control and mental health medication. I have been taking escitalopram for about a year now. However, my most recent refill was not fulfilled and I was not formally notified. I only found out when I realized I only had 1 pill left, and went to my online account, checked my subscriptions tab, and saw that the escitalopram tab simply said "needs attention." There was no indication to WHAT exactly needed attention no matter what I clicked. I realized that my card had not gone through to pay for the medication. I immediately messaged through the portal to ask to have a refill for the medication sent to my local pharmacy as soon as possible. It has now been 5 days and I have yet to know when this prescription is going to be sent to the pharmacy. Mind you, escitalopram is known to have severe, debilitating side effects when you suddenly stop taking it. Needless to say, these last 5 days have been beyond awful for me, and I anticipate things are only going to get worse once all of the medication is fully gone from my system. Also, I am not looking forward to having to spend another month or two months to get the medication back to the level it was before. I do not understand why this is taking so long - the last time I realized I ran out, I messaged the portal, and my prescription was sent to the pharmacy and available for pick-up in that very same day.
I am extremely displeased with the minimal messaging I did receive this time around. For starters, in my initial message, I noted that I was already out of my medication. The response was that there was a refill order pending and asking if I wanted to wait for that - which usually takes at least 5-6 days to arrive to my place AFTER the order is complete/not pending anymore. Then, when I sent a follow-up message to notify them I was having severe withdrawal symptoms, I got a "we apologize for the inconvenience. here is a link to our FAQ." Are you kidding me? I truly do not understand what I am paying a monthly medication management fee for. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company, if not THE worst. I cannot wait until I find a better way to accessibly obtain my medications. Then I will NEVER use nurx again.

"Horrible Customer Service"
Horrible customer service with this company. I had attempted twice to cancel my subscription since I started seeing my primary doctor for my medication, I have received no response confirming cancellation. I keep receiving a questionnaire in response rating their service instead of any help with cancellation. They have charged my card twice now for $69 every couple of months for a service I am not using. I recommend staying away from this company if you don’t want your card charged a ridiculous fee for a service that is not being provided.

"Basically a Scam"
I paid $59 for my consultation and $25 for my prescription medication. I asked to cancel my subscription and to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy, but they refused to transfer my prescription if I wasn't subscribed. I thought it was a little odd since I was just asking for a transfer, but okay.
So, when I looked into resubscribing, they tried to get me to pay an additional $59 for a brand new consultation. Why? What did I pay for the first one for? Did they delete my prescription because I unsubscribed or were they just being petty because I wanted to unsubscribe?
Originally, I was only going to temporarily pause my subscription, but now I'm not coming back. Nurx is a complete waste of time and money. I would advise anyone against using them.

"Easy & Care Free to work with!"
Been using their Tretinoin cream for 2 years. My Rx last a long time so I request my active script to be placed on hold until I contact them to reinstate it again. Sometimes it takes a few days to hear back from someone but they are easy to communicate with & get a response. I would recommend them if you’re looking for care that requires a written script.

"AWFUL Company!!! "
Honestly, the WORST online provider of medications! Run away! Do not use them! They take FOREVER to get any medication. They take FOREVER to respond to simple messages. They will tell you your medication has shipped, then send another message saying they can't ship it.
There are other companies online.

"Never delivered meds, terrible customer service"
This is an absolutely awful service now. I signed up for a consultation + potential derm medications. During the consult, you are told that you will be able to (1) send your prescription to a local pharmacy (instead of being delivered through Nurx) and (2) see the price of the prescription before they charge you. Both of these are false. The provider never reached out to me before writing a prescription and sending them to Nurx's pharmacy to be filled. Despite my request for any meds to be sent to a local pharmacy, they also immediately charged my card almost $100 total for the meds, without showing me the price beforehand or receiving my authorization.
I reached out to customer service, via both chat (which is useless) and phone less than 10 minutes after receiving notice that my card was charged. Nurx immediately marked the items as shipped as soon as they charged my card, so customer service kept telling me that because the meds had already been shipped, the shipment could not be cancelled and that the prescriptions could not be sent to a local pharmacy. They basically told me I was stuck with them.
A week later, I still had not received the meds. I reached out to customer service again. They told me that the meds hadn't actually shipped. So, I (again) asked them to cancel the order. Instead, they said they couldn't cancel the order because they had already been marked shipped in their system, despite the fact that there was no tracking number (and no record of them actually being shipped).
Their customer service is deliberately useless. When you send in a request, it is answered maybe 8-12 hours later. The responses appear to be canned, since they rarely answer the question you actually ask. The phone service is not much better.
I ended up disputing the charges with my credit card company, since Nurx ultimately did not provide either the medical consult or the meds.
I am sure this was once a decent service, but it is absolutely terrible now. Do not waste your time with it.
