"Terrible service waste of money "
Terrible service, insurance portion seems to be a scam. You pay $40 for a consultation.. which takes days.. they make a bogus plan for you.. and then the problems set in… this isn’t covered… that’s more than expected, now it’s down to a one month supply instead of the 3 for $35.. I’m a week into the process I have 5 charges on my card… barely any useful responses, and nothing being “prescribed”. Website is a load of shit. Save your money and go to a REAL doc

"Misleading and Disappointing Experience…"
Misleading and Disappointing Experience with NURX
I had a very frustrating experience with NURX that I feel compelled to share. Initially, I went in for a consultation, expecting my insurance to cover the dermatologist face cream prescription. I was charged $40 upfront, which I thought was reasonable. However, I later received a bill for an additional $90 without any prior notice of this charge.
What’s even more disappointing is that I could have gone to a traditional dermatologist, where my insurance would have covered the prescription for much less. It’s clear that NURX is not transparent about their pricing or billing practices, and it feels like a scam. I expected better communication and honesty, but instead, I was left feeling misled and frustrated.
I strongly advise anyone considering NURX to think twice and explore other options that are more upfront and trustworthy. Save your time and money!

"Snookered by NURX"
I contacted NURX to obtain a prescription wrinkle cream. They sent me a 3 Months supply of a product without informing me that this was a subscription or offering me to subscribe (which I would have declined).
Fast forward 2 months (well before my 3 month supply was exhausted), they bill me for another 3 month supply which they said they had shipped and I could not return.
NO reputable pharmacy I know will force you to purchase medication without your explicit consent even if prescribed by your doctor and medically necessary.
THEREFORE, they are NOT, in my view, a legitimate ethical pharmacy and should be avoided.

"Sneaky business $ terrible customer service"
BAD business. SNEAKY business. TERRIBLE customer service.
Go elsewhere! NURX changes your order without authorization. Then refuses to refund the charge when brought up to customer service's attention.
I chose to not subscribe to the Tretinoin product but to order it as 'one time purchase' because I always have way too much product remaining when NURX wants to send out the next subscription.
1st order, no problem. 2nd order, still not a subscription, but there was a confusion in the size. It was a size larger than I thought I had ordered, meaning much more expensive than my 1st order. After going back & forth with customer service, I accepted the larger & more expensive product thinking it was my error in ordering.
Now, without any additional contact from me, I am suddenly on a subscription with an automated $93.- withdrawn from my account. I spent all yesterday trying to reach someone at customer service to cancel this last order & to cancel the unauthorized subscription. I have repeatedly asked for my money to be refunded with the cancellation.
I only get an automated response.
The product is great but it will be the same product at other online companies for Tretinoin. A quick google search; RedBox Rx is cheaper. I will NOT be ordering from NURX again. Each order they sneak in taking more money from you.

"Not sure yet on my review"
Not sure yet on my review, but after reviewing a few of these, I’m not sure anymore. I just signed up with Nurx because of 28 health wouldn’t refill my prescription unless I did a a subscription fee.

"NURX doesn’t care about their customers"
I’ve been a customer with NURX for years, and I recently switched my account from Auto Refill —> to On Demand so that I can control when I receive medication. NURX charges me anyways for the medication, messaged me letting me know I had the ability to cancel and they would “release the funds”. I explained my situation and asked them to NOT SEND medication, they ignored my message and let me know it was shipped. I asked for a refund and they refused to fix their error and lack of communication, even after I said I’d remove all of my three subscriptions with them. They still refused. All over $45! I’ve had to dispute this charge with my bank and now cancelled everything with them. They care more about making a buck than sustaining any sort of long standing customer relationship.

"Nurx is a scam! "
Nurx sent me an email over the weekend saying that my prescription I no longer needed was being processed. I tried to cancel the order on the app but it wasn’t easy. I couldn’t call or email them to cancel because according to their site they are open Monday - Friday. Monday morning before operating hours I get a notification my order has shipped. I called them and explained my situation to which they said we apologize but we can’t cancel your order - ok then would you please cancel my subscription and then the representative hung up. Unprofessional and a legit scam! Don’t fall for the same tricks I did.

"Started off really great. "
Nurx started off great for both of my daughters. Then more than a year in we started running into billing and customer service issues. Claims that they were no longer covered on insurance which they were. I feel like the concept is great, maybe new people or lazy people in their back offices? We will keep trying to use since it’s convenient while in college but more of this and we will go to another provider.
ETA: love how Nurx wants to reach out now even though my daughters have been going back and forth constantly with them. Do not waste your time.

"Almost useless customer service"
My pharmacy had sent a request to nurx to refill my prescription after nurx only sent 1 fill.Nurx has not been fulfilling the request and keeps telling me that they already sent all the refills to my pharmacy, they are not even looking into it or resending to my pharmacy they are just saying over and over again that they already did it. Yes, they sent the one fill, now I need more and my pharmacy has sent them the request that they are not looking into. Instead of doubling down that they sent me a fill a few months ago how about they just approve my pharmacy’s request?
