Dr. Tang is Unprofessional and Irresponsible

On January 23, I had an appointment for blood and urine tests. During the visit, I mentioned to the doctor that I had recently experienced severe stomach pain. Dr. Tang suggested that it might be a Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and recommended an additional test—a stool test—to check for the infection.

The next morning, I promptly submitted my sample. However, after some time, they contacted me to ask whether I had provided the sample. I confirmed that I had already done so. Later, they claimed that the laboratory reported the sample was insufficient and requested a second submission. A nurse had previously told me that only a small amount was needed for testing, which led me to reasonably suspect that they had lost my sample. If that is the case, it would be highly unprofessional.

I then provided a second sample, ensuring that the quantity was more than sufficient—filling over half of the test tube.

When the test results came back, the most critical result—the H. pylori test—was marked as “ “ Equivocal “ “ which essentially means uncertain.

However, Dr. Tang did not provide any explanation regarding this inconclusive result, even though it was my main concern. At the very least, I believe he should have explained why the result was uncertain, what might have caused it, and what further steps or treatments he would recommend—especially since I was still experiencing persistent pain! But he completely ignored it.

H. pylori infections can lead to serious complications, including stomach cancer if left untreated. I was seeking professional medical advice and proper treatment, yet Dr. Tang completely disregarded my concerns. Even more absurdly, in the same report, instead of addressing my H. pylori concerns, he once again tried to upsell me on two additional CT scans—neither of which were related to my stomach pain or any urgent medical issue. This is outrageous!

We specifically sought out a Chinese-speaking doctor because we knew that blood and urine tests would involve many complex medical terms in English. Dr. Tang was listed as a Cantonese-speaking doctor on their website, which is why we booked an appointment with him. However, when we met him, it was clear that his Cantonese proficiency was far from adequate for effective communication. This could cause significant difficulties in future follow-ups, making the website’s claim misleading and dishonest.

Because of this, we informed the clinic that our English proficiency was insufficient for phone consultations and requested ，
Request for Dr. Tang to Respond via Email. However, as of today, February 14, we have yet to receive any reply!

I chose to go through Pall Mall for my breast augmentation due to the quality of the service from the staff at Newton Le Willows. Mr Prasad carried out my procedure and I couldn’t praise him enough. From my first meeting with him to procedure he has been so caring. I am absolutely delighted with what he has done and he has well exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Mr Prasad and all the team at Newton Le Willows. I am 100% happy
