I went on Google looking for a free cv site and came up.with Myperfectcv. After filling in a template and downloading it I have found that I have been charged 2 months at £16.95 plus a one off charge of £2.95?? This is totally unacceptable.
I have contacted the company and got a really good customer service person who has cancelled my account but was not offered a refund, he did say I had an option of cancelling after 14 days but how do you cancel something that you don't know you have subscribed to?

I wasn’t aware that they put you onto a subscription IF you do not cancel it within 14 days. They took 2 months of £16.40 out of my bank account. When I realised and emailed them they said I should have cancelled it within 14 days and refunded me £3. They should ask you at the end of the 14 days if you need more time and give the option to opt for the next payment as a subscription. I am a single mum of 4 on a tight budget and that money amounts to a new pair of school shoes! Absolute scammers!
