Hej,
Jeg har endelig fået samlet min nye GASGRILL CADAC CITY CHEF 50.
Desværre kan den ikke holde sig tændt, da vi har en del vind på altanen.
Der er for mange spjæld/huller der ikke kan lukkes.
Kan det virkelig passe?

Excellent customer service. They replaced a faulty stem which has been identified in their previous range to stick after heat and no quibble. Very happy to buy Cadac again. They take pride in the quality of their products.

"BBQ that cannot withstand heat - Poor quality and not fit for purpose - and poor customer service too - avoid as expensive product that doesn’t last"

I’ve had Cadacs for years because they’re convenient for caravanning due to portability and height when assembled. The trouble is their grill, brai, bbq plates are terrible quality and customer service isn’t any better.
They are not easy clean, they are in fact a nightmare. I know of other families who avoid using their bbq because of this and use the paella pan.
The coating does not last either meaning food sticks and you can’t even cook an egg without having issues getting it. Can off. I have had 2 Cadacs and both of them have had issues with the plates and these are very expensive to replace.
Customer services were actually really rude, first ignored my query about why this has happened twice, sent me cleaning instructions (surely this should be included in the purchase) and when i assured them that I have cleaned appropriately, they accused my husband of heating the plate too hot…. Figure that one out as it’s a bbq… making it not fit for purpose. I found this really rude, putting the blame on us with no evidence of over heating, and he’s a very good cook, low and slow is his method!
They will not help with a situation because there is no equivalent at the moment meaning they don’t need to worry about their quality and customer service. I’m holding out for the new ninja outdoor bbq as their products last and have great customer service, and then I will not buy another Cadac product.

I have had further conversations with Cadac following their request on trust pilot for me to contact - only they have not actually done any more than send the same response. They have advised that the heat was too high on the Cadac (they have not seen the 2 x plates - bbq plate and grill to brai). They have provided me with operating instructions and there is nothing on the instructions that specifies that the coating can be damaged if excess heat used against the plates that have lost their coating but there is a small remark very far down the instructions mentioning it’s best to use on low or medium - why allow it to heat higher than the plates can withstand. Furthermore there is nothing on the dial or instructions to indicate that heat may be too high - there are no numbers, no guides so how do you ascertain whether it’s too high or not.
They have alleged we have damaged 2 plates through using too high a heat - without examining the product, and without evidence. They’re refusing to replace the plates or replace even one of the plates. As far as I’m concerned a bbq that cannot be heated is not fit for purpose. This isn’t a one off, it has happened to a grillo chef and a Carri chef - and others on Facebook and our friends say the same - the plates are a nightmare

Carol from Cadac was a breath of fresh air, she responded very promptly, politely and posted the replacement immediately. My Grillo Chef 40 grill plate was difficult to clean. The replacement was with me within 48 hours with a more comprehensive guide on seasoning and cleaning than the original, which I will certainly follow. Most appreciative and grateful, thank you

"Carol at cadac was fantastic."

Carol at cadac was fantastic.
I had a new cadac cook3 delivered damaged by another company who wouldn't sort the problem, so I wrote to cadac to buy a new lid myself. But Carol suggested we claim under warranty and sent me a new lid free of charge.
Fantastic and pretty rare customer service, especially as I wasn't down to them. Excellent company to deal with, and would make me continue to buy their products.
