Contacted Cadac UK online regarding an issue with my Safari grill. Sound advice provided and a replacement part sent out to enable repair. Item now in full working order. Great customer care from Cadac, many thanks.

Cadac grillo, didn’t work ,out of box, gas valve not opening, contacted warranty, very helpful lady called Carol, sent out part and I received next day, have checked BBQ, and now works as should, very happy with warranty service

Cadac safari chef 30 no spark from new asked many times at cadac warranty with no replys very poor at answering emails total disgrace took many weeks to get new part then only after asking retailer to chase them

"City Grill 50 explosion"

I bought 2 x CADAC City Grill 50 and happy so far from a grill experience.

Although there is serious security problem with the BBQ.

With the minimal breeze, the flame gets turned off which you don't realise immediatly till you see the heat goes down. When you ignite again, due to gas accumulation you get a real explosion.

I opened a case with customer service and the answer was "We don't have problems with this model." but searching the web, there are many complaints around, see this video, exact what happens to me

Customer Services is ignoring the point that there is a design issue.

The fact that the ventilation openings are between the gas burners and the grill, provokes that any minimal breeze blows out the flame.

In fact, you should redesign it to avoid any disaster and escalate this issue to Engineering.


So, this needs serious attention.

Bought a carry chef 2 and after only using it once as it was late on in the summer/autumn we decided to pack away until the following year which we did and put away clean and tidy. Come to try using it this year and it won't work as for some reason there is no gas coming through to fire it up. Not impressed at all as its not like its even remotely dirty in any way.
Took it back to where I purchased it (a well known camping shop) and they had no interest as the guarantee has expired by a few weeks.
Not impressed with this product at all as it has failed foe us at the start line.

Great product and fantastic after sales service. I bought a Cadac 2 Pro barbeque, well made and the perfect size for me. I also needed a regulator to connect it to my 13 Kg gas bottle. Unfortunately the recommended and supplied regulator did not fit my bottle. I emailed Cadac and explained the problem - they got in touch quickly and sent me a bespoke regulator that does the job. Thanks Cadac for your superb customer service.
