Delivery Time Unacceptable in the City Centre!
My esky full of meals was left outside the security apartment building where I live. The time was 4:49 am .
I had no idea that my order was delivered???? I found it outside the building later that morning!!! Anyone passing could steal the esky!!
It's noted on the box to ring my apartment number at the front doors so I can open the building entrance door and then to leave it near the table inside the foyer.
I wasn't going to order again due to the change of delivery times. It used to be from approximately 7.30 am - 10.30 am for ages. I've been ordering for many years. My order also used to be delivered at around 11 am at my place of employment when I was working a number of years ago.
Anyway, after my January 2025 experience, I thought this week that I'd give it another try BUT today 9 April I get notification that my current order will be delivered tomorrow between 4.46 am - 6.46 am. Oh, dear Lite n Easy! I can't do this again!!
It's not safe for me to collect the esky at 4 am or 5 am!! Nor should our security building doors be open during these hours. I have told Lite n Easy this before!!!
Lite n Easy don't seem to care if long term customers leave them. They have obviously become so big that their attitude is customers can either put up with it or not. Hey, tell someone who cares right Lite n Easy?

I have been a customer of Lite N' Easy for several years now and they are very easy to deal with. The order system is terrific, and you can call them if you have any problems. The food and delivery is good value and it is amazing for my lifestyle, it's just so convenient. Keep up the great work. FIVE STARS from me.

"Longtime customer angry at 4am deliveries"
We've been customers for many years but a recent change in process means they're delivering at our before 4am and leaving the box literally on the footpath. Despite repeated explanations that there is nowhere safe at our home to leave boxes, they now insist that all they can offer is an all-day delivery window, starting at 4am. This is terrible service.

"Suspected food poisoning"
Last week's delivery seemed to have little ice packs. Did not think much of it at the time but my wife became very sick just 2 hours after eating a Parmesan Crusted fish meal. She is a type 1 diabetic (since she was 7 years old) and with other medical conditions she cannot risk her health on eating anything even a day beyond the use date.
Susan did NOT have anything else earlier in the day just a hot crossed bun for lunch 8 hours before she became sick. She had not been out that day so she had not been in contact with anyone else that was sick. We are near certain there was an issue with the meal. She has since recovered however I went to the web site to alert Lite and Easy.
I found a "contact us" button on Saturday night and sent them a short email saying my wife had been very sick since eating that meal.......I did get a computer generated email from a "no reply" address that seemed to confirm they had received my "Contact Request".
I see it as a serious issue that someone using this meal service would report an incidence of food poisoning. However, there would seem no alert system in place via their web site, or internal escalation process, nor any ability to provide more than a very short message when trying to let them know of a likely food poisoning complaint.
38 hours later I have heard nothing from Lite and Easy which would seem to illustrate they have few people if any monitoring what is communicated to them via their own web site.
Having checked Trustpilot for similar issues this seems to be a fairly isolated experience but one that has left my wife quite upset and questioning whether we should continue ordering meals...especially when having reported an issue no one seems to be monitoring of acting on messages sent to them.
Update...they called me asking a whole range of questions and then said that I should take my wife to a doctor to get confirmation of food poisoning. I said it was now 2 days ago and she is now much better so what purpose is served by going to see a doctor. She replied that if poisoning was confirmed the doctor was required to report it to the Health Dept. I said I was not going to do that and the purpose of my trying to reach them was to warn them of a possible food preparation issue as we had put the meals into the freezer within 10 minutes of them being delivered at 9am 2 days previously. She said she was required to ask a range of questions to complete a form about the issue. At the end she said she would credit us $15 and while we did lodge another weekly order last night the credit has not been applied to the account. They could not even properly/correctly provide the small consideration of a $15 credit!! I said you need to respond on Trust Pilot to what I had written...she said "what is trust pilot". I said it is a consumer experience web site....clearly you do not know of it but your senior management would as there are many responses to consumer comments on the site.

Back on lite n easy because it really works, takes the guess work out of healthy eating, the lunches, snacks & dinners are really varied and really delicious.
I plan on staying on a 5 day lunch and dinner program for the foreseeable future.
Oh btw the shakes are really nice and filling

"Lightneasy ordering is a joke"
Just letting you know your website has become too cumbersome to use. I used to be able to get a 7-day lunch and dinner of my choice which was simple. Now so many choices and packages and not able to navigate how to pick my own meals. I am unable to work through what I would like to order with the selections given. I have given up now unfortunately and will unlikely use lightneasy unless it changes back. I couldn't even send an email out of hours.

Great program. Very easy to follow. Delivery on time. Meals are good and I have not felt hungry. 3kgs gone after 4 weeks.

"Again meals delivered after 4.30 pm & not frozen."
Light & Easy started out quite good, the meals were been delivered at a reasonable time mid to late morning. But that is no longer the case, now the meals are been delivered around 4 pm & as late as 5 pm. The meals are not fully frozen, & have arrived on more than one occasion thawed out, this has occurred from sitting in a truck since 6 am. After complaining to the delivery driver, who then exhibited a bad attitude which resulted in a formal compliant being lodged with Light & Easy Qld. It is totally unacceptable for meals to be delivered late afternoon especially in summer, & very poor customer service from a delivery driver. After numerous complaints & phone calls about very late deliveries, this issue remains unresolved. The solution is quite simple, " HIRE MORE DELIVERY DRIVERS ". Avoid this company it is not worth the stress nor very poor customer service.
