"Avoid them if you’re serious about growing your business."

I’ve been a customer of EE Distribution since 2021, and over time, I’ve noticed a consistent pattern of dishonesty, poor communication, and a blatant conflict of interest between their wholesale business and their retail website, Entertainment Earth.

If you’re a reseller—especially with your own website—beware that you’re essentially competing with your own supplier. They often list products as “out of stock” or “on backorder” for wholesale customers, while those same items are available and shipping directly from their retail site. This kind of behavior completely undermines the trust required in a B2B relationship.

For example, we had a large backorder for Funkos and Spiderman action figures delayed for up to two years. When we enquired about cancelling these orders, they slapped us with a 15% cancellation fee. Even worse, when we noticed the Spiderman figure was now available on their retail site, our account manager told us that “Entertainment Earth is a separate business,” and that the stock wasn’t available for wholesale yet. A week later, when we asked to cancel again, they raised the fee to 25% because the item was technically “in stock”—but only for their retail customers!

This was deeply frustrating—we had waited 24 months, issued customer refunds on our end to avoid passing delays onto our buyers, and maintained patience and professionalism throughout. Their response? Punitive fees, stonewalling, and threats of account closure if we didn’t pay.

In short:
• They do not prioritize or respect their wholesale clients.
• They hide behind technicalities to extract fees.
• They treat their retail and wholesale arms like separate businesses when it benefits them—but they are clearly the same company.
• And they’ll happily compete directly with you while controlling your supply chain.

Avoid them if you’re serious about growing your business. Look for a more transparent and fair wholesaler. Entertainment Earth/EE Distribution is not it.

"I’ve been buying from entertainment…"

I’ve been buying from entertainment earth for years and I made a purchase recently and accidentally used my five-year-old previous address for my billing and shipping which was my fault for not paying more attention, but they shouldn’t have been able to bill it because it’s the wrong billing address and then they shipped it to that address so I emailed them to see if there’s anything I could do and basically got told “oh well you put in the wrong address You need to contact the people Live there” no help and no care for loyal customers, long-term customers and now ex customers! I will just re-purchase from Amazon, which I should’ve done in the first place as that’s a trustworthy company that takes care of their customers! entertainment won’t be around forever. I can promise you that.

"Called today and spoke with Donald…"

Called today and spoke with Donald Tapia. I needed to make a couple changes on a previous order. Not only did he help me with that but also gave me some tips on how I could look at things myself. Very helpful. Always get great customer from the staff at Entertainment Earth.

"Amazing Customer Service, Quick & Efficient "

Don was amazing in helping me restore a purchase that had been cancelled due to fraud on my credit card. After a long ordeal with my health and subsequent identity theft during my illness, Don was understanding and worked on restoring my purchase. Entertainment Earth has been great, I recieve my items in Mint condition and contacting them is very easy. I wish companies were as helpful and transparent as far as the process or ordering up to shipping like EE. I look forward to purchasing more items soon.

"Greatest customer service ever"

I live in one of the areas affected by the fires in Southern California, and UPS was trying to deliver an order. I tried calling UPS and asking them to reroute it, but they said they could not do that. I called Entertainment Earth's customer support and spoke to Donald. Donald resolved the issue in less than 10 minutes and took the time to make sure my family and I were okay. Donald is the definition of good customer service.
