"The Target Optical website seems like it was created by hamsters"

The Target Optical website leaves a lot to be desired. If you select a pair of frames and then input your insurance information, it erases your frames and makes you go searching for them again. And registering for an account is pointless because while you can add to your cart, you can't access it to remove anything or check out. So I had four pairs of glasses in my cart and couldn't do anything about it. I contacted IT and they said to checkout as a guest. Then what is the point of having an account? This has been going on for months. I wanted to purchase elsewhere but I really liked the frames I'd found. I'm hoping the glasses come through okay at least.

"I received the glasses in the mail and…"

I received the glasses in the mail and they were loose. When I went in to get them adjusted they said the glasses weren’t made correctly and that it’s missing washers. The glasses are unwearable

"Returning due to thick lenses"

I went through target optical because they can do the ultra thin lenses. With my prescription of -10.0 I thought this would be great. After almost a month I finally got them and there is no way they made them any thinner. I asked customer service to make sure but they said they cannot give me an answer. The people in store said they cannot help me because I ordered online. Overall just a terrible experience and will have to return them.

I stopped by my local Target on Bruce b downs the other day. I wanted to know if anyone could help me with loosening my glasses. A lady by the name of Shirley went above and beyond to help me get a custom fit on my frames. She was lovely and now my glasses fit perfectly. Thank you sooo very much Shirley for making my glasses comfortable.

Great experience! I was very skeptical about ordering glasses online and had read a few bad reviews, but they were all wrong. Target optical has amazing pricing and discounts with my insurance. Huge selection of designer frames, multiple options on lenses. I got progressive with Transitions XTRActive they came out great, love my new glasses. Customer Service was great! I received my glasses within the same time frame as if I'd gone to the store. I will definitely return when it's time for a new pair!

Customer service gets an A+. I received a new prescription, sent it in and my beautiful new glasses came- problems was the right eye was too strong. I contacted CS- no proscan us the correct prescription and we will remake. Just send the incorrect pair back with label provided. New glasses came- perfect!!
My only suggestion- provide online virtual “try on” and PD options like other online glasses stores have. That is not provided on a prescription so it can be hard to figure out.

Went in there my glasses were sliding off my face , Chris Donohue was working there and even though I did'nt get the glasses there he offered to alter them to make them fit ... I was so happy and he did and they fit great !! What a WONDERFUL experience I will be getting my next pair of glasses there for sure ! THANK YOU CHRIS
